Sidney Myer Music Bowl - Melbourne.
Glorious night here. Spoon supporting. 🤘
I’m on a small patch of grass known as the terrace between the seating and lawn sections.

Awesome show, my first time seeing WoD. And they didn’t disappoint! Adam was actually sick but to be honest I couldn’t tell until he mentioned it. The weather was on point which helped create a really relaxed atmosphere and everyone just seemed to be chilling and enjoying the tunes with a few cold beers and other beverages. Great set with every track a highlight. The band is so tight! A lot of love for the sax player! And the crowd let him know!

Songs played: (not in order but fairly close and maybe missing one or two).
    Old Skin
    Pain
    An Ocean Between the Waves
    I Don’t Wanna Wait
    Strangest Thing
    Red Eyes
    Eyes to the Wind
    Harmonia’s Dream
    Under the Pressure
    Living Proof
    Don’t live Here Anymore

Awesome set!  I do wish they’d break up the “I Don’t Wanna Wait/Victim” battery.  Those songs are a little same, sonically, in my opinion.

After the opening excitement of the first four songs Victim did feel like a little bit of flat spot at spot 5. It picked up again from there and never let up. One gem after another.

Think I'm doing the Mass date, but of course it's Sept. 14 - three shows in four days w/ PJ x2 at Fenway.....during the beginning of the school year as a teacher lol

I was defending Pearl Jam's tix prices a bit, but $55 after fees (for seats in the back rows) for a double billing of The National & War on Drugs is something else....

That’s a great deal, $55 for either one of them would be a deal

Hopefully not too long. They’ve being doing a fair bit of touring though, fingers crossed they’ve been writing during the tour. Boy, I loved their Melbourne gig! So so good!

I bought this but I’m not happy about it lol. What a weird release, with info scattered across sites. After researching, this “initial press” is limited to 2500, and 666 will randomly be blue.

So, it cost me $60+ after tax and shipping for what could be a 2LP black vinyl? That sucks, especially since I’m sure there will be another press at a fraction of cost. Groups taking advantage of FOMO is not fair

True but few bands require vinyl listening anymore either.  TWoD remains a great vinyl experience, whereas many artists, even ones I like, can be passed on vinyl.  In other words, happy to shell out for them, because it’ll be a great record that I’ll wear out.

Yeah, I’ve been enjoying it too. The vinyl was £50+shipping in the UK, they really do like to push the limits of prices with each release. Glad I’m out of the new vinyl game (PJ apart).
