This new recording is fantastic. Like someone stated the vocals are much easier to hear. Sometimes it's hard to hear Mike soloing, but I remember it being hard to hear in the venue so it's not the fault of the taper.

I can try over the weekend. I e-mailed The Army Reserve to see if they would be uploading it through megaupload. If it doesn't pop up there I will try to get it up over the weekend.

You know it's I'm Gone's site right? It'd probably be easier to just pm him on here.

So the version you have is the 'other' FLAC version?

Would you be able to upload the FLAC you have? Or are you looking to just do the mp3?

Looks another taper version of Lolla has surfaced. Not sure if this is better than the previous one I posted or not. I'm not that familiar with different source devices. Here is the source info...

    Source: DPA4023 > Sound Devices 722 @ 24/96
Location: rear barrier of soundboard, ~ 100 ft. center

    WAV > FLAC: .wav @ 24/96 > CD-WAV/FLAC frontend v1.7.1 > .flac

I'll download this and post it here if its better quality than this one which is up on my blog...

    SOURCE: B&K 4021s (Hat) > EAA-PSP2 > Sound Devices 722t (24/96) 20' back from first relay stack on left.

LINEAGE: 722t > computer hard drive > Wavelab (resample, dither, normalize & fades) > CDWave (track) > Flac level 6.

They are both 24 bit. The only difference I can see is the source mics and the position of the taper. We'll see.

Downloaded the torrent... I have to say it does sound pretty damn good. Not sure which one is best... you be the judge :) Uploading to megaupload. Hopefully will be up here by late afternoon ET.

This 2nd audience recording of the Vic has been posted on my blog. It's very good. Ed's voice is clear and the guitars I think are more upfront in this recording.
