    I think I have a soft spot in my heart for Pistoia because my grandmother immigrated from Pietraroia, which I'm sure is no where near there, but there are similar sounds :D What a beautiful name.

    My family (on my Dad's side) originated from about 100km from Pistoia (La Spezia - on the coast). Beautiful part of Italy.

    I once knew what La Spezia meant in Italian. What does it mean? Do you know? I just tried to have it translated, and it just brought up the city. I just know it means something, though. Anyone know?
