No this fits the pattern. They want something for little to nothing (unfettered access to federal land). In this acton, they show up "for the long haul" but dont bring supplies to bear that out. And so want something for nothing.

This guy Cliven Bundy has been around for a while. I'm not understanding his lack of pre planning?

are they still occupying the federal building? I have not seen anything about it the last 3 days.

i guess when fox stopped covering them the story officially died.

Good question. I couldn't find more current than three days ago. Maybe the feds have appeased their appetites and their snack attacks have subsided and they're laying low in the fields with the cow pies and deer flies.

If they are still active and there is no press... goes to show you how important the media is to the various causes we experience.

I reckon those good 'ol boys are gettin' hungry and accomplishing nothin'.

His "come here and be a patriot" is about as inspiring as a bag of... well, you know...

But really, the whole this is ridiculous. The occupation occurred because of the pending imprisonment of Dwight and Steven Hammond but the Hammond's are against the idea of a militia intervention and Mrs. Hammond was quoted as saying "I don't really know the purpose of the guys who are out there." I guess it must get really boring out there on the range in winter time.

i saw they received the bag of dicks i sent them last week. i am not sure if the one in the video is the exact bag i sent.. but i like to think that it could be.

it cost me less than $20. it was worth the price to see the reaction.

    haha thanks.

my bag of dicks pales in comparison to the 55 gallon drum of lube that was sent to them last week. $1000 worth of lube. clearly people have way more disposable income than I do, haha.

Here's an update from yesterday. It looks like it's getting more cult-like, with references to God and now we have propaganda videos to get recruits (sound familiar?), even a "Kool-Aid" reference. This either ends one of two ways: it gets more kooky and the group splits internally, or they dig in and create their self-fulfilling prophecy.

If these yahoos had any idea how ridiculous it is to graze cattle on western lands they would find something better to do with their time. Forget the politics, just the simple lack of basic ecosystem knowledge illustrates how environmentally illiterate these ranchers are. Grazing cattle on western lands makes about as much sense as growing petunias on the moon. Sheesh!

Yeah, they need the government's money to make it marginally profitable, but damn that evil government's tyrannical reach.
