    The poor kid just panicked.

One of the things about sports that cracks me up. This poor kid made a horrible mistake, he was reduced to tears, he feels just awful. But in a week or 2 he will be in the Caribbean, with his wife, and he will be moving on with life.

I think the Phillies fans will be supportive of Orion. I mean he pitched really well in the series. Far from the reason they lost. 1 run in 11 innings. Come on.

Hoping we don't have a repeat performance of philly teams on Sunday. Should be an interesting night for us with The Phillies in a must win game, Flyers season opener and the Eagles game on prime time tv.

well that didn't happen at all. :disappointed:

I actually don't think this will go down with some of the worst plays in the history of this town, like this isn't Bill Buckner. I feel like a lot people feel the way I do - that this was the end of the road for this version of this team regardless; it felt like they weren't winning that game after like the 8th inning, it was just a matter of how. And I certainly didn't have that on my list of ways lol

Here's my off-season armchair GM moves:

JT, Ranger, Kepler gone; DFA Nick.

    Hopefully Bader is back.

Rotation is: Sanchez, Wheeler, Luzardo, Nola, Painter.

Bullpen: Duran, Banks, Strahm, Alvarado, Kerkering

    Lineup:

    Turner
    Bohm
    Harper
    Alonso
    Marsh
    Bader
    Crawford
    Stott/Sosa
    Marchan

Agree , the offense and Thompson are far more to blame.  It was a terrible play but I think most people will blame the high money guys sucking in the playoffs again.

I'm signing Ranger if at all possible.  Guy is just clutch.

I think Kepler was better late so I'd be open to bringing him back

if JT wants more than 2 or 3 years than see ya it's been fun.

Not Marsh's fault that Thompson stupidly batted him 5th but I've had enough of him.   He's just not very good.

Crawford and hopefully by mid-season Aiden Miller have to be on this team next year.  need some youth.

I can't deal with Marsh. He didn't hit the RH pitchers either. He's terrible in CF.

This is probably the Phillies last chance for a while. Unless they have a good off-season.

If  their starting pitching stays healthy next year they will be back in the playoffs.
