    He would somehow use this as a way to punish the city for being a sanctuary city or something. Thank god he's not running for senate.

    Really cannot make my feelings for Tom McCarthy known enough. My god, I'm working and I hear his inflection and volume RISE. Of course it's because the Braves scored.

    Well that was a frustrating game to watch especially the 10th. Schwarber should have been charged with an error. Least we don't have to play the Braves for awhile now and we are still in the wild card race :neutral:

    People bash Kate Scott all the time (who's really not that bad), yet now have no problems with this absolute hack. I don't get it. He remains as awful as he was 15 years ago.

    WAIT A MINUTE. Have you actually warmed up to Kate? I think I would have considered you in the pro-bashing column not that long ago. Granted I think this was last year when she started, or whenever that was now.

    Kate Scott rules. Her f-bomb machinegunning on the Ricky live show was hilarious.

    I honestly have had very few local announcers that I haven't liked. Basically Wheeler & McCarthy.

    Yeah I've warmed up a little...however my warming up seems amplified to me because of the outright vocal hatred she gets from a lot of people. I don't find her to be a great announcer or anything. She's just okay. But she's not nearly as bad as so many people make her out to be. 

    Wheeler was a lot better than McCarthy in my view. But this is because he was paired with HK for so long. Part of my hatred for McCarthy is just that the Phils automatically gave him the full 9 innings right from jump while they always made Harry move to the radio booth for the middle innings.

    McCarthy is perfect for them. He will dutifully push all the sponsors and he won't ever go "off script". The fact that he cheers for the other team is our problem.

    lol, I appreciate this. I have to say this was basically my position from the beginning. She's no Zumoff for sure, but no one was going to be.  I think she's been decent, but you can tell this is a career and the Sixers are probably a stepping stone.
