    Kinda off topic about him but why is he our leadoff hitter? Shouldn't our power hitter be batting cleanup or 3rd or 5th? Usually you have a "speedy" guy that gets on base lead off like J-Roll, Rickey Henderson, Ichiro, etc...

    Yeah, this is the same kinda thing Gabe got shit for doing with Hoskins. And in both (all) instances I agree with it for no other reason than that they don't really have a leadoff guy. Hence just sticking the slow guys with high OBP at the top of the order. It's been since Jimmy I'd say that they haven't had a leadoff hitter, and he wasn't even a good leadoff guy. I always thought Shane should have been at the top on those teams.

    Related - they drafted Carl Crawford's son last night, so fingers crossed in 4 or 5 years we'll have a decent leadoff hitter.

    We all love Jimmy but I thought he might have set the all-time MLB record for pop-ups. I liked that whole "do one drag bunt in April and don't bother the rest of the year" thing he did. "Oh it's on the scouting report now." Are teams really that stupid? Maybe.

    I'm still resentful that people can do that now when I risked my life, repeatedly, to buy weed.  I quit and then they start legalizing it!  :lol:

    Ya, for anyone who knew 90s LA, we used to go to Pico & Hoover to buy, which is pretty much the last place anyone with a brain would go at night.

    I always just asked a waiter/waitress, host/hostess, bartender. Someone working at almost any restaurant or bar either was or had a source. You people actually bought weed from street dealers?
