Kapler sucks.   dumb ass move walking a 19 year old rookie to pitch to the guy with the best bat control in the league.  i guess his stupid fucking  charts told him that.  too much time in the sun i guess.  Sweep would have been great.  Not feeling good going against the Yanks.

7 over .500 heading into the final 7 games of this brutal stretch before entering the easiest part of the schedule. Couldn't be happier with where they're at right now...

MLB is shaking in their boots!

Yanks scuffling a bit, hopefully that Phillies bullpen gets them back on track.

I believe most people would've guessed 7-10 games under .500 at this point, Cliff. Team is clearly headed in the right direction, which was basically the whole point of this season.

Ha. I guess I should've been more specific.  I was referring to his health.

was interesting to hear Kurkjian(?)  last night  say he thinks Machado most likely will be a Phillie next year.  he is going to get ridiculous amount of money.

also the last 3 days had the highest 3-day strikeout total in major league history.  breaking the record set earlier this year.  I guess Ryan Howard was just ahead of his time

what inning an game does Stanton reach Ashburn Alley?  I'd say in the 4th on Tuesday

haha, I wasn't even thinking him, but yeah I'd consider trades to be somewhat home grown since it takes prospects to get, though any team could have given up what the yanks did.

I am counting on Stanton and Judge to pepper and knock down the stupid Holiday Inn casino.

Oh boy. Was just pulling out my yanks gear deciding what to wear and came across a shirt purchased around November of 2009.  Might just have to be my attire this evening...

Only person wearing yankees pinstripes that I have ever booed is Armando Benitez. Disgrace he was allowed to put in the uniform.  Don't think I ever saw Pavano pitch in person, but probably would have booed him too.

As an Astros fan, you booed him as a Giant? I'm confused.

Some bad luck in the 8th as the NYY haven't had a hard hit, yet they have 2 runs scored.

Made it through the top of the 6th with the baby then stopped at pops for some ice cream. A nice summer evening if I say so myself.  The wife won the attire battle and the baby had Phillies gear on.  I'll win the war.

Stadium was pretty fun.  Lots of Yanks fans. Pumped for tonight. Have a baby sitter and a good crew of 8 people going. Half Yanks and Half Phils fans.

Also, they were not at all prepared for a sellout.  Lines were absolutely bananas everywhere and they did a terrible job managing them.  Took my wife a half hour plus to get food.  You could hear everyone chatting and complaining about them.  Tried to meet up with my brother in law, but he was in line for going on 20 minutes or so. Brutal.
