Michelle's taxpayer funded vacation of the week

I remember the criticism that George Bush took for constantly heading to Crawford to clear brush, heck it made that one guy's movie!

So I think it'll be fun to talk about Michelle's worldly travel adventures, all funded by ALL OF US!!!

So this week Michelle is taking her mom and kids to her third trip to Communist China. I wish them safe travels. Oh unfortunately we won't be able to know what they are doing because she BANNED THE PRESS!

Of course she DESERVES these elaborate vacations, after all her job is just so stressful!

    like it or not, the first lady represents you to people in other countries. i could think of a few more people i would be more embarrassed about representing me on the world stage.

    You can make that argument. I'd counter with the argument that her mom and kids don't represent me anywhere.

    Sounds like she's doing quite well representing the US. The 'source' is unnamed and sounds petty.

    And... you're really reaching here man. First you go off on the first lady for staying in a fancy hotel... then, because there really isn't much there to attack... you shift your focus to her mother. If the only way to attack your president is to be critical of his mother-in-law... then I would suggest you have got a really good president. Congratulations.

    Barbara Bush was a First Lady, she still has secret service protection, by law.

    Michelle Obama's mom is a nobody.

    I despised George Bush more than Obama. They are all the same to me, try that crap with someone that believes there's a difference in the two parties.

    did you now? i do not recall a single time you said anything about the traveling and such that all of us had to pay for back then.

    and no they are not exactly the same. if they were the same we would be at war with russia right now. bush's terrible decision to go into iraq has insured that we are not going to go to war with russia. yesterday obama dissed russia by calling them merely "a regional power", while bush would have drummed up the fear that we were in immediate danger. sometimes a good leader will show restraint.
