    What were the two albums they included in HD? Ten and Lightning Bolt? What format are they in? FLAC? I have the HD versions of ten,vs,vitalogy from hdtracks, but I don't think they've put out any of the other ones in HD. I wonder if pono files are transferrable to other devices that support HD flac?

    Don't buy the 16 bit. If you rip your own CD to FLAC, it will be in 16bit/44.1khz.
    Can people who preordered see the resolution of each album in the store now?

    24 bit studio masters is what you are looking for.

    The only reason yo buy the 16 bit from pono is if you are original kickstarter purchaser is that if they ever release a higher definition version you get it for free. Now the question is how often that will happen.

    is there a list of what is available in 24 bit at this point? The Pono Store is tough to navigate

    That happened to me and it was delivered a day late. Has it been "cleared"? Make sure they have your phone number.

    There are still customs issues in Louisville? Mine cleared Louisville a week ago after a several day delay.

    I had the chance to listen to my Dad's Pono last night, a PJ one as well. It sounded great. Kept flipping through Vs. and every note of every instrument could be heard clearly. Was very impressed with how light it was and how comfortable it fits in the hand.

    I did have a bit of jealousy because I haven't received my PJ Pono yet and I keep waiting for some shipping info. The way they are shipping doesn't seem to make sense to me. Just kind of flying by the seat of pants. His was numbered in the 430s and the numbers of those that have received them yet are all over the place.

    Oh no. Mine was supposed to be delivered today but now is in Louisville. Says scheduled for delivery tomorrow, but I'll believe it when I see it.

    Same here. I actually do believe that it'll arrive to NJ from Louisville tomorrow.

    Now it says my package was released by the clearing agency. I assume that's a good thing.

    Weird....I have a 24/96 vinyl ripped version of VS. It doesn't sound as good (depth, instrument separation) as the 24/44 versions that came with the Pono.

    Perhaps the vinyl rip is not the remaster

    Not to mention the other inheriant issues with recording a record. What kind of equipment is the person using to go from analog to digital? I have to imagine that in most instances it degrades the quality of the record.

    What's the source of that vinyl > flac rip? I have a few Pearl Jam 24Bit Flac vinyl > Flac sources that I've collected over the years. IMO, the Vs 24Bit Flac that I bought last year over at HDTracks is so good. I'm pretty sure it's the same one being sold over at the Pono Store. It's kHz is much lower, but the quality / clearity is much better.

    UPS says customs released my Pono & it will be delivered on Monday! Amen! Nice work by Pono Customer Service in freeing it up!

    I don't really care at all but after looking through those photos, I have to say the old sigs and layout did look so much better. I wonder what happened with that. That said, the ones with just logos like ZZTop and GD look the best.
