I love it when you talk dirty to me....
  • Sorry my potty mouth gets the better of me when it comes to idiocy
  • Could care less what you wear. Let's say I have 40 t shirts. 60% are pj, 20% are petty. Great odds to always see me in one daily and for concerts.

What's weird to me is when someone in the band wears their own band t-shirt on stage. For example check out the mighty Ginger Baker in the Cream reunion DVD where he wears a Cream t-shirt on stage.

He's Ginger Baker so he can do whatever he damn well wants to, but it's like he didn't plan ahead with his packing, ran out of clean clothes and has to grab a spare T from the merch table.

Since I've been visiting these forums this is easily the 4th or 5th time I've seen a thread about this very topic. Absolute bullshit. Wear whatever the fuck you want and have a good time

You do realize all of this is a parody of a scene from the movie PCU right? You people getting all bent out of shape realize it's a joke right?

This thread has been going for years, and every time someone makes a stand to buck the trend and say "I'm wearing my so and so shirt, fuck everyone else" just fuels the fun and justifies the responses.

Of course people can wear what they want, enjoy it.Even shirts you bought night of the show that look way to stiff and long wear it proud and be that guy.

But there will be hundreds of us hidden in the crowd, quietly drinking, laughing, enjoying our undercover existence, singling you out ,mocking in a loving way and thinking about how you have broken the sacred rule 19.These are just the cold facts.

So wear your shirts you feisty rebels!!!!!!

Btw,if it's an outdoor show and it rains.Rule 19 is suspended and ANY dry clothing, merch or not becomes exceptable.

I agree with Rule #19, and I don't know why. For some reason, it's always weird to me when I see people at concerts wearing the shirt of the band they're seeing, or the shirt of a closely related band -- for example, a Mother Love Bone shirt at a Pearl Jam show. Personalized/customized stuff also gets on my nerves for some reason, like a "Vedder #10" jersey or something of that ilk. I've always worn my band shirts when I'm doing something totally unrelated to music.

Sports jerseys/t-shirts/caps are totally appropriate for wearing to a game, however, because in that case you are supporting a particular side in a match between two opponents.

I like to root for Pearl Jam. Go team Go!
  • I follow it, with the exception of Pearl Jam and Tool shows...lol
