I agree with Rule #19, and I don't know why. For some reason, it's always weird to me when I see people at concerts wearing the shirt of the band they're seeing, or the shirt of a closely related band -- for example, a Mother Love Bone shirt at a Pearl Jam show. Personalized/customized stuff also gets on my nerves for some reason, like a "Vedder #10" jersey or something of that ilk. I've always worn my band shirts when I'm doing something totally unrelated to music.

Sports jerseys/t-shirts/caps are totally appropriate for wearing to a game, however, because in that case you are supporting a particular side in a match between two opponents.

I like the way youre thinking ,Sarah.Concert shirts are great for every activity except viewing a concert of the band on the shirt.

We had 8 of us going to a Def Leppard concert last Thursday. One of my buddies shows up in a New Del Leppard shirt he got at Lucky Brand.3 of my other guest almost on que started to bust his balls about rule 19.I had no idea they knew.
    It was pretty funny.
My Friend borrowed a Foo fighters shirt to wear instead.

It's funny how seriously people take this idiotic rule. Wear what you want to wear to a concert. I like seeing shirts from past tours.

I picked up a Dinosaur jr. shirt at a Primus show last month. Not a big Dino fan but the shirt was the "owl man" art by SPUSTA. LOVE SPUSTA. I'll have that on in Central Park. If u see me say hi.
  • There is a guy I work with who has my favorite concert shirt.....it reads:

    Your Favorite Band Sucks

Everyone wants to argue with him at shows....it really is pretty funny....

I usually wear a sister act: the musical shirt to concerts.
I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it to sister act: the musical
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.
  • Always wear a PJ shirt to a PJ show.

I saw Greg Allman last and it was much better than I expected. His voice and playing were both strong.

But some guy was where a t-shirt with that said Derek Trucks tour 2015. I had to look twice but the front was a picture of the dude standing next to Derek. That is over the top in my book.

Since I've been visiting these forums this is easily the 4th or 5th time I've seen a thread about this very topic. Absolute bullshit. Wear whatever the fuck you want and have a good time
