Oh yeah that's a great setlist too, on the boot it flows really well. Eddie made some changes but also supposedly have the guy tips on how to come up with something that would work. Release opened the first encore. Have you heard the boot ?

Bought two tickets for my other favorite band today.
From there on it's less than a month until Pearl Jam makes my summer. B-)

coming from FL, USA for both amsterdam shows and it's my first time in the country (and europe)

so far the best advice i've seen online about amsterdam:

    1) don't walk in the bike lanes
    2) DON'T WALK IN THE FUCKIN BIKE LANES

really hoping for tremor christ on either setlist!

    #3 - Don't walk out of a coffeeshop into a bike lane
#4 - Learn the Trams routes - There's an app for that...!

Well that's sound advice. You should pass it on to other people, mainly Dutch people. :D
    It's a wonder i haven't hit anyone yet.

Tremor Christ would be most welcome.

The biggest part of me is just so appreciative for this band and everything they have done that I get a little irked when I see posts about wishing they wouldn't play some of the most popular songs both nights. If nothing else, not everyone can go both nights! DTE may be the favorite song of someone who is seeing them for the first time and only going to one of the shows.

But yeah, I also have that entitled & greedy part that wants the best show for me. I would love NOT to hear Alive. But I'm pretty sure they'll have the range of fans in mind and will give us something each night to be really, really happy about!! Would love Tremor Christ!

i feel the same way. before a show i always think about how i don't need to hear ANOTHER 8 minute live version of Even Flow or Alive... but then during the concerts i go apeshit and fanboy when they play those songs haha

I agree 100%. I think it's one of the best cities for walking and just wondering around. Walking around the canal belt is like being in a living museum. Been there on 3 occasions for a total of about 25 days and never once did I feel unsafe.

Boom Chicago has "Boat like a local", private booking. If we started a list I'm sure we could set it up. I'll write them and get the info... seating, capacity, cost, etc... I already know it is "smoker and drinking friendly"... and if I remember right it was fairly inexpensive. Something like $20 a person +-

    I'll start a list..

    1) myoung321 +1

Those that don't know: Boom Chicago is an improv comedy club in Amsterdam, (Seth Meyers was a cast member before going to SNL)...

Well in Rome it's not so much the bikes that are a problem. I can't even remember if I've been one. :D
But crossing the road in Rome definetly a challenge.

I lived in So Cal for 30 years....Driving the L.A. Freeways makes Amsterdam seem like an amusement park ;)

You just have to be aware of your surroundings and give all bikes the right of way.. and survive another day ;)

BOAT CRUISE I shot a mail off to the cruise director, so hopefully I'll hear something back soon.

    - I was thinking have one cruise for the afternoon/evening of the 15th... day before first show.

Then maybe one in the afternoon before show two? late lunch time.. Figure get off the cruise and head to Metro or Centraal Station and go directly to Ziggo and hang out before the show.... those with GA can get in line.

I guess the best way to do it is PM if your interested and I'll keep the list updated. When I have more details on how many spots are available I'll let you know.

    ----------------------------
/ BOOM CHICAGO BOAT // RETURNS SPRING 2014 ! Skip the boring, floating tour buses and head to Boom Chicago for our smaller, open-air boats. We go through the canals too narrow for the big boys (like the heart of the red light district). This is the best boat ride in Amsterdam.

There are no headphones or recorded multi-language tours. On board is a Boom host/guide/good guy who sets the right tone. He knows the city and the best cruises turn into great conversations.

We attract a interesting group who likes our fun, laid-back atmosphere. Some want to learn things, and some just want to hang around with their friends and enjoy the ride. We’re cool with either.

One beer, wine or soda is included. Bring your own food and drinks for a floating picnic. Smoking (wink wink) is allowed.

A Boom Chicago Boat is like your friend’s boat… well your jerk friend who charges you money. Dress warmly. You can always take layers off. €17 for 75-90 min ride, depending on captain’s whim. Boats go out most days at 3 or 4, but schedule can change.
