When I was at the show I thought the sound was a bit sub-par. I had side seats for the first time so I attributed it to that. The FLAC boot sounds pretty good to me though.

Burn it to a disc. Do some players have trouble reading FLAC when burned to disc? I've never had a problem.

Can you save DL a FLAC then burn it to a disc with normal software on a newer computer - or do you need special program?
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

If listening in my car will FLAC really sound different - on a fairly good car sound system?

What do you use to burn? If you use Nero you should be fine. You may need to download the FLAC plug-in for Nero but that's no big deal and it's free.

I typically use either iTunes (mp3 only?) and also have SonicNow. SonicNow asks when burning and such if it is music, data, files and such before burning.

Is Nero and the FLAC plug found online anywhere particular? Also, how much memory will the FLAC take up? I imagine it makes sense to DL the FLAC - save 2 copies on a disk, then erase the file so it makes room for the next?

My god, why are people making this flac stuff more difficult than it actually is?

On a side note, bought Alabny last night, listening to it right now. Sounds damn good, even on computer speakers. Can't waitto burn it and put it on the big system. ;)

Just google 'Nero'. I think you can find a trial version. You may not need it though. I don't use SonicNow so I don't know about it but it may be fine to use. FLAC files typically take up around 1 gig of space, give or take, for PJ shows depending on the length of the show.

a simple program for FLAC is jetaudio...no plugins needed..will burn FLAC easily, and all cd players will play it...and it's a free program to download..just google it......and it sounds F'n fantastic on any stereo i use.....anyone who has a problem with the sound of this show doesn't know sh*t about bootlegs....

you can burn .flac straight to a disc using NERO (without having to convert to .wav), just choose the audio disc option and drag your files over.

you do need to d'load a .flac plug-in for Nero prior to doing this. i can't remember the link, so maybe someone else will be kind enough to point you in the right direction?
