Eurostar is in town (Paris intramuros is pretty much zone 1 of London, maybe a bit more), airports are further away (even Orly, let alone Roissy. Probably like Heathrow, maybe a bit closer). so imagine Bercy is Earls Court and you probably get the equivalent from Waterloo.

From Gare du Nord (Eurostar), simplest is take RER line D (not sure if you have to change at Chatelet-Les Halles, probably not) to Gare de Lyon (that's 2 stops) there you can either walk about 500 yards to Bercy or if you're really lazy take metro line 14 for the 1 stop (you can use teh same ticket across rail-metro in Paris  ).

From Orly it's VAL to Antony, then RER B and change at Denfert Rochereau to line 6 towards Nation.

From Roissy, RER D like Eurostar (except you start much farther away).

Wished i lived in London. The eurostaris cheap with a hotal, it came to about £90/£100 return for 2 with 1 night accomodation. The cheapest flight i can find (from Manchester and Liverpool) is £159 return for 2. Then i still have to pay for a room.

I feel lucky because one of the four of us going to the Paris gig is a driver so we're getting the ferry from Dover to Calais, then getting the train from Calais to Paris! Hotel is aleady booked, seems to be near the venue from the looks of it.

But does anyone know how much it'll be to get the train from Calais to Paris?
