listen here, elitist.....without laugh-in, there's no SNL....slow down the rock star lifestyle and stop to smell the roses.

    Sock it to me!

It's funny how Rowan and Martin drinking / smoking on-stage was considered the norm.

What a sign of the times. That'd be called racist these days...I think.

Loved Sanford & Son though (much like I did Chico and the Man!).

Redd used to buy coke from my old boss' ex - said he could be asshole too, but who knows. We're talking the 80's here =)

While I enjoy many of those (dont recall Friday's) on re-runs I think only the comedic shows were better previously. Probably you agree as well since they are what you listed when you looked back at shows you loved from the past. There are exceptions to that statement I am sure but I think shows like Sanford & Son, All in The Family, and the Jeffersons stand the test of time because shit that is hysterical stays hysterical. Shit that is action packed or futuristic or super dramatic tends to change.

True true, but oh that whole era!

All in the Family is my penultimate (MASH too). They had a way of making me laugh and then tear up (and I HATE tender moments in comedies!).

You two better be careful. No bannings of either of you, dammit! (if that's what you're referring to).

    First, the hell was Friday's?

    And second to BB...ALF?? =)
