Buyers beware:

There's a Kielbasa King pick on eBay right now, the seller is using the picture from this thread:

Is is very suspicious, why if you have the real deal you'd use a picture from somewhere else? I believe only someone selling a fake pick would do it, no cheap excuses, also Canadian sellers are known for selling fake picks (not all, of course), mostly Eddie's old black picks from different eras, Kielbasa king, Wave, Surfboard, 23, Tomahawk, rat/lightbulb.

    How about the guy who keeps selling that hideous fake EV EdVed Batman pick for $30 and in the fine print says it's a "replica pick"? You think 99% of collectors are smart enough to know "replica pick" means a fake pick?

    I can't say one way or another about the authenticity, I just wanted to add that I've been lazy and used a link to someone else's pictures on ebay, if they happened to be better pictures than what I could take. But that usually pertains to the official photo of a Led Zeppelin vinyl box set or something else widely available.
    Of course for something like this, I'd use my own picture so that I could show the actual item for sale.

    If you are buying an autograph (or these days a pick), chances are really high that it's fake. I don't understand the appeal of these things unless you obtained it yourself/it came directly from the band, but to each their own.

    I know a few things about PJ's sigs and picks, not much but what I know I try to share it, but you said it, to each their own.

    Yeah, I saw this and thought it was probably fake. Thanks to your thread though I spotted the fake/replica edved pick without reading the text!
