History of Mookie Blaylock Shirt?

Does any one know the history of this Mookie Blaylock Shirt? Is it an authentic shirt distributed by the band or a past tour shirt? Is there a difference in authenticity or release date from this shirt which is purple and yellow vs the Blue & Red that I have seen?

    I don't know the history but I have this shirt. Back in 1992 or 1993 my friend worked for a music magazine and they had an entire closet full of promo stuff and she let me in it and picked it apart. This was what I found. Now my son where's it as I have grown out of it LOL
