I only voted know because as a rule I buy my downloads in flac not mp3. Not a big fan of paying for mp3. I'd pay 10 dolllars if it included a flac download. I'm still bummed the analog membership doesn't let you use the code to get a flac concert completely free :(

The MP3 of the show already costs $9.99 so this wouldn't be a deal. In fact, you'd just committing to buy ANOTHER thing from Pearl Jam. Now, if paying an extra $10 got you FLACS, I'd go for it cause at least there'd be savings there.

well they could give you the option getting the MP3 within 72 hours or a free FLAC download that you could use on that or any show, once it is available

yes but only one $10 per two tickets since we have to buy in pairs

my thought process is do you want a MP3 which could be made available within 72 hours, obviously a a quality FLAC version would not be available for 72 hours, but they could give a FLAC code for when it becomes available

No, I would only do this if it was FLAC or CD. I would never pay a dime for mp3's.

That would be cool but there is a limited market for that. Not everyone who buys a concert ticket is going to have a record player.

Why couldn't FLAC be available at the same time?

They should just set it up with a little box to click if you want the boot and just add on the cost of your preferred format.

with a FLAC I am not sure if more editing that needs to be done or not, I would think you the highest possible sonic achievement, where a MP3, you can just record and release, I could be wrong about that, not exactly an expert

doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Why not just buy the show at will? I'd only want the show immediately afterwards if the quality was up to that of the 2013 boots. Otherwise, i don't mind waiting.

I feel like the download for the show should already be included in the ticket price, not marked up an additional $10. Concert tickets are expensive enough as it is. I know phish includes a free show download with their mail order tickets, pearl jam should include the same for 10 club tickets.

The Flaming lips did this when I saw them in 2009 and the ticket was $41.00. Don't see a need to add $10 to a $75.00 ticket for the same thing.

I would pay it for sure as I am no audiophile by a long shot but I do see where some would not be happy about paying for an mp3. The solution is to make the $10 optional for those that want the mp3 of the show.

I don't think it would, but I'm no pro either. I think they could mix and master in a lossless format, then convert it to mp3 and be good. I think the only extra time would be b/c the files you're dealing with are much bigger.

Probably, yeah. What's 10 bucks when you can relive the show that soon? I'm not an audiophile. I used to listen to Iron Maiden shows on bootleg cassette in the 80's and they sounded like shit. If you think a properly recorded show on mp3 sounds shit then you were born too late.

it would be ideal if they could have it available the next morning especially if you are doing shows on back to back days, it would be even more excitement for the second show, a better crowd usually means a better show

well could give ticket holders a platinum option for 10.00 more you get a free MP3 download of the show the next day, and then they could just do everything like they do it now and the only ones who could hear the show early would be the ones who got the platinum option on their ticket, I would definitely pay 10.00 extra for that

Sounds like a good idea, BBH. I have to admit I voted no, not because it's not a good idea but because I don't use mp3's. Now a vinyl version- that I would pay extra for!!!
