ok so i don't care for facebook AT ALL... big, evil, sellin your info to the banksters, and letting every idiot have access, these aspects (plus rampant negativity) drove me away from FB years ago. it was very lightly implied that i wouldn't gain full confidence among the rank and file here until FB friends. does anyone have any thoughts on this? i will rejoin FB to join this amazing community but only if i have to lol

I merely meant that if I wanted to find a message from a member from 7 months ago - I don't have to scour throw hundreds of PM pages to find it like a needle in a haystack,. I can simply locate the persons username and scroll. That's pretty neat for me. and that's what I referred to as Tidy. Maybe it doesn't work for everyone, but for all the pissing, moaning and whining in this thread I thought it would be nice to interject with a little comment to the good.

    nevermind.

I agree. :) Not everything is going to work for everyone, but after a little period of adjustment I think most people will feel okay (I know some people lost PMs and stuff, and that really sucks, but still, we move on). I feel like i've been coming off as some kind of hysterical weirdo trying to convince people to try and feel more positive about things, lol.... I was getting worried for a bit there. But i think you're right, people are starting to come around with the help of Mike D88's scripts and just a little time. I think by mid February this will all be behind us until the next time 10c decides to mess everything up, Hahaha. :P

I don't think FB is necessary at all if you're not into it. The great majority of communication between members still happens here on the boards. I wouldn't worry about it if i were you.

a big fan of the way Pm's organise better now, so no need to look back through hundreds of messages to find one from a certain person....

how so? mine don't seem to be organized in any fashion.

I think he means how there isn't an individual post for each PM sent by the same person under the same subject line. All messages with the same subject line and with the same person are grouped into one post now..... I also find this very useful, now that I'm used to it. I mean, the chain of emails was always in each message, but there was still a separate message for each new one as well before, which actually was annoying.
OK. not to be an ass but...........whoopdeefuckingdoo

Ha, yeah, I know..... I am trying to stay positive here. I'm starting to feel upset about how negative everything is recently! I think at this point it is up to each of us to try and get the mood back on track!
I hear ya. It just seems this less than pleasing format is causing good folks to bail.

I know. I don't get it. I thought it was the people here and the communication that really mattered, not the format of the forum.
    :-/

I'm not necessarily "good folks" but I've pretty much bailed. And PJ_Soul, of course I still love the people here and want to talk to them but it's like the decor of your favorite bar being redecorated by aliens who breath through their assholes. Every now and then I may still drop by to say what's up but I can't hold my breath for very long.

At this point I'm very dialed into Mikes latest script and I was a doubter. Highly recommended- easy to read, looks great, easy to navigate. Thanks again Mike! :)

Old forum come back ! I have distracted myself with all of these smilies rather than getting up to date….I know - be fluid- flexible is too rigid-stay positive, but this new stuff is mind intensive or bright on the eyes and small... <:-P :bz 8-X :-O :-@ [-X :-@

:-/ As far as I can tell, what you're saying is how the PMs used to work, and now they are the exact opposite - you can delete an entire group of PMs between you and another person all at once....
