Ah man, that's too nice! No way I'm breaking up my complete PJ collection though. As tempting as it is... :?
Ahhh! Apperciate this! Makes me feel better somewhat if a deal does not go down. Why the hell would they do that though?
They ended up paying $535 for a used copy, but pretty sure the person before me never played them. When I cleaned them off, no dirt or scunge. Still a fucking nutso amount of money - I told them that they weren't allowed to spend that amount of money on me again until wife and I had kids.

The needed to do 33 RPM with the longer songs, so they would fit on the vinyl.[/quote]
Makes sense. onder if any arrangement would have worked, they probably considered that tho.
I paid $400 for mine as it has a scratch on the side that only has Daughter on it - clicks a little whenever it goes over that scratch, but I can live with that!
Is it warmth or depth or volume?
Higher speed means larger capacity for storing information. Lower speed is more convenient from the storage and costs point of view. Performance wise, 45 rpm editions always sound better than 33 rpm ones, provided that the rest of the variables are equal (master tape, vinyl quality an so on).
Neil deGrasse Tyson
Why not (V) (°,,,,°) (V) ?
Had a deal in place, fell apart though due to eBay. Lot of people selling them there is giving people pause but it's just cause they just hit mailboxes. In a few months when collectors have these they will be more sought out. So really right now is the best time to get one if you're in the market.
