Well, I think you'd have a hard time getting $400 if you had only the box but yeah, not having the box cuts the value in half. Again, this is based off one ebay sale...so pretty small sample size.
I'm always hoping something like this comes my way when I have a little spare money ... I would take it for 300. I want the vinyl. I don't care for the packaging. The pop-up shop ones sold in the shop for 350, so 300 is a little less, but it's not a complete box anyways :P
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!
I have the Benny vinyls...without the outer box. Played 2-3 times. Sounds immaculate.
just curious...what would this be worth?
Sealed =$1200
Unsealed=$7-800-ish
No box=????
I paid $535 for mine 3 years ago - opened, records in pristine condition and box was worn, but the sleeves were inside the box were in perfect shape. Minus the box? Man, if you are looking at getting rid of these records, you should contact Matt (mfc2006).
I'm sure someone who wants to play these would happily pay $400 for them, seems reasonable to me. The one set that went for $250 I think was low. $400 doesn't seem low or high, fair for both.
Is the box lost or is it the one made and sealed without the box intentionally ?
its the one made & sealed without box intentionally. You actually helped me get it thru your friend in Italy I (hopefully) have an opportunity to get another one that has the box & was just curious. Just testing the waters...not ready to let it go yet. I paid $500 for it a yr or 2 yr ago.
I picked that set up for $250. The box and poster was water damaged and unsalvageable. The seller was very honest and sent a ton of photos. Needless to say, the vinyl just needed to be cleaned and is flawless. This is Pj's best sounding vinyl, along with the Constitution Hall set. I'm a lucky man!

Off topic I know but what is the value of a Benny from the pop up shop from this year??
Same as every other Benaroya Hall vinyl is worth... (Not sure how "Benny" got started, but it's stupid). Per Tim, the ones sold at the pop-up shop were saved for the band but they weren't doing anything with them so they released them to the fans via the pop-up.
They should reissue their catalogue to stop this madness. So many people who just want to spin the stuff and not keep it sealed and collecting dust are missing out. It's sad and pathetic too, for a band who continuously praises the superiority of the vinyl experience.
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

It was sarcasm...
They continually release & re-release vinyl. Every studio album released on vinyl was available for over a year at ANY retailer of the time.

The ones they have reissued so far have never been that rare I thought ... But I might be wrong. The ones that are yet to be reissued are the ones that are hard to get and rather expensive. I understand that there might be copyright issues, but I cannot believe things are completely impossible.
