I just enjoy FOX news and I also enjoy CNN and S.D local news to me no news source is 100% with the facts.

so then how come NEVER a link from CNN or SD local news?? maybe cause they don't spin stories that fit your personal view of the world?

    Fact and truth

Only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

Of course we all already figured out this thread would bring the trolls out of the woods. Take in the sunshine and throw your hatred down.

so wise guy...it just so happens that the health care thread I started this morning was a CNN story with a link from CNN and not FOX News, but as you say I do enjoy the "twist" Fox spins on their news

for me, all of those things are worthless without a beautiful, intelligent, mind to go with them. call me crazy, but there is nothing more intoxicating than a serious conversation with a beautiful, supersmart woman. the hosts on fox all lack the intelligence i require to find them hot. then again, i really try not to objectify them as well.

GF, I'd hope only for the first three words of this thread title.

Was just listening to some old live Simon & Garfunkel...The Boxer.

"still a man he hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest"

I can apply that to myself, for sure...and I do, with the proviso that I must also be willing to admit my views could use a re-examination.

I actually like doing that from time to time. It's like cleaning out the closets - purging, confirming, refreshing.

    Well!

That rambling up there of good pot aside :P , I wish you a happy Christmas eve and holiday. There aren't many I agree with on all issues, even my husband, but somehow there's always common ground to be found...and room for putting differences aside.

ps to gimme...agreed on the brain/mind in all its glory. There is NOTHING as much of a turnon as that.

are you saying i am shallow & only like dumb hot ass women? also, are you saying fox news women are dumb as shit?

    i've had different lady friends.

conversation is a must. communication/conversation, lovely, lovely, lovely as i have a mind & whatnot that doesn't shut off.

    one more thing...
you have tried talking with a fox news hostess & found that she lacks the intelligence required for you to find her attractive? flat out, she flunked your check list!

some of us ask a lot of questions and use statements such as "I dont know" or "I could be wrong"

Only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

    Not the only way.

I could use a bow and arrow, a crossbow, a grenade, a nuke (a.k.a overkill), or if I have an alarm system or dog to send them away I could use that...

If someone had a gun at, for example Sandy Hook, yes a good guy with a gun could have been helpful, but regardless the guy would have killed many people. He wasn't afraid to die and would've been happy with 1, 5, or 10 deaths, as long as he killed. A teacher could've had a gun, but the element of surprise would've been used and he could have killed the teacher and then the kids, sadly.

The current gun debate is stupid. Both sides lack common sense. If they sat down and actually talked about the "facts" and worked together, we could accomplish a lot more.

The answer is not just more guns or less guns.

The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is proper preparation and common sense.

    usamamasan...

You retracted your 'kill 'em all' comment. You have been doing a lot of retracting the last couple of days- speaking out of anger and thinking better of it.

On this note, I wish to apologize for my you're part of the problem comment in an earlier exchange. I didn't really care for the undertones of the message I took exception to, but the comment I expressed took the conversation to a level it really didn't need to go to.

If you think that his retracting his comments is evidence of him having second thoughts, and exhibiting some sort of new found maturity....think again. He retracts them because he thinks he can insult, and provoke other posters, and get away with it before the mods notice. That's all.

Sometimes those that claim to be the most tolerant are the most intolerant.

I think tolerant people are right in being intolerant of intolerance though. Being tolerant doesn't include tolerating hate.

Intolerance comes from those who know where your path is heading. But when you realize your path is screwed there is no coming back! Except on your knees through a burning hot desert drinking piss water in a concentration camp of some sort.... Go! Have fun!
