Because it's not a very good set? (hides for cover)

They got it right in 2003 with the experiment, Santa Barbara and then Benaroya. Like others said, it was too soon for them. I enjoy it for what it is, but even waiting just one year would have been such a different set.

They'd been perfecting the unplugged format at all the Bridge School Benefit performances over the years.
A Bridge School compilation would be sweeeeeeet :)
3 LP BS Set that includes '92/'94/'96 sets.
    Yes please.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

I think I'd lose my mind being able to hear the '96 Yellow Ledbetter version on vinyl

there's a 'bootleg' of the mtv unplugged available. it's gotten pricey but if you're patient and keep your eyes open you can get it cheap (got mine for $20 about 2 months ago)

Weird timing for this post. I popped into a small record store in Amagansett, NY last weekend (Innersleeve Records - great store for any locals) and they had the "bootleg" version on vinyl for $39.99. Not an outrageous price so I of course had to pick it up. It's suspect because it's likely not from an analog source, but it sure sounds amazing and very happy that I nabbed it. I wouldn't pay this price though: https://www.amazon.com/MTV-Unplugged-Vinyl-Pearl-Jam/dp/B01ENY7VX2. It does have a cool, short instrumental (tuning) after Black that I've never heard before.

If you go to (or can find) a record store, there are usually all kinds of boots and imports for around $20 that you can buy.

This site is selling a version for five bucks. Does not include encore though. Never knew they did Garden and Leash.

I think the uncut version is 50 minutes, but there's a bit of dead time between songs and bantering and stuff. If you took out the dead space, you could probably cut out 10 minutes and fit it on a record (all 8 songs and some of the better banter)?

speaking of vinyl releases, I'm really surprised that Stone's "Bayleaf" has never been released on vinyl.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

Nice. I remember downloading soooo many copies (and viruses) that were garbage before finding this one.
    Now it's on YouTube.
