Just had a kid, unemployed and broke for Christmas will sell sevens and vault three for 700 shipping included. Will ship vault 3 now if requested both are sealed.

    Its actually not his ship until he receives it. The Sevens boxsets don't even exist yet (unless they have been made over the last few days).

    Congrats OP! Keep your stuff - you'll want something to enjoy when you get your footing with your little one. Plus music will help keep you level when things inevitably get hard.
    Also, there are great programs out there to help new parents if money is tight for things like diapers, formula, etc - local charities, churches. Maybe family can help? My cousin gave me her crib ($1000 saved) and enough clothes to last our little girl until she's 2 yrs old. PM me if you need some 0-3 month onesies. Would be happy to help!

    I don't know him personally, seems like he is a new father, and former military, and unfortunately unemployed.

    Congrats on the new child, glad you are home safely from active duty, and sorry to hear you are currently unable to work and earn a living.

    It still sucks that you are trying to sell $50 Vault #3 and $54.99 Sevens box set for SEVEN-HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!! You are trying to get more here on the forum from fellow 10C members without selling fees than your $750 sale on eBay.

    You may be a fine person with a run of bad luck, and it looks like you have people here on the forum that know you and like you. That is all well and good.

    But I still think the entire spirit of this board is in the crapper when someone is trying to sell items that are either brand new, or not even received yet for 700% profit!!

    There is natural value appreciation to items and if someone sells a Benny for $700 here on the board, that's applauded. If the asking price is $1200, they get ripped. If someone sells Binaural vinyl for $140, it's gone in 10 minutes. If they ask $350, they are told to go check themselves.

    This sale just doesn't seem right to me, in my opinion.

    Here is to a free bump for you, and you don't have to "hate the player to hate the game." But this sale sucks!

    Great idea. I would pitch in, in a heart beat.

    I too think it is a slap in the face to this community and those that missed out on the Sevens sale to flip it before it is even in hand. Let alone for something so much above face value. Look, I am all about capitalism but flipping items on the very forum where you purchased it is silly. Go to eBay, get your $700 and take care of your family. Next time they put something on sale here remember you have a family and save your money for them, don't look at it as an opportunity to make money off your other family. The PJ one.

    He bought it with the money he earned for himself and now that it is his property he is entitled to do what he wishes with it. He placed the disclaimer that everybody already knows- the package hasn't gotten to him yet.

    The boxset is going for over $600 on EBay as we speak. If he sees that and says to himself, "$600 cash is more important to me than the box of records." ... and chooses to sell it... then that is his prerogative.

    The very people essentially calling him greedy should not be throwing rocks given their blatant envy (two comparable sins).

    Scott is a great guy. Also, he probably doesn't care about the haters, his former military and a strong guy. This is a situation when I would feel good about spending the extra money and helping a real person in a real need to keep on track. When Scott lived closer to me we'd go to concerts and grab beers and he was always one of the nicest and most generous people out there. If I didn't have these and had the extra cash flow I wouldn't think for a second about it. Good luck brother.

    The OP may be a great person and all but it comes off as these were bought strictly for the purpose of flipping which is not the spirit of this forum. I understand that he is having hard times and needs some cash but if you've just had a kid and don't have a lot of money maybe you shouldn't be buying records. Best of luck to the OP
