GF, with all due respect, we get it that you don't like Obama but look at it this way, if W. wasn't impeached (and I think W. was one of the worst presidents we've ever had but I never entertained the thought that he might be impeached) no way is Obama going to be impeached. Wishing for that to happen or even imaging it could is just going to add to your frustration. As for Clinton, he was impeached for being caught doing what I suspect most presidents have done, maybe even a large percentage of married men. It's not my thing- I'm really old fashioned when it comes to marital/sexual fidelity- but I don't judge people who have extra-marital sex. It could be viewed as biologically normal for humans and surely in many cultures it is. Besides, who cares who other people have sex with or not? Not me.
Just for clarity Clinton was not impeached for his interactions with Monica, he was impeached for lying under oath about the BJ from Monica.
True. I thought about that later which is why I later posted this:
Not to side-track too much but one more thing about the Clinton deal- Often we hear people say Clinton wasn't impeached for having sex, he was impeached for lying. To that I say- asking him if he had sex with someone is more egregious than Clinton's "lie". Anyone other than a spouse asking someone about their personal life is more dishonest than lying about who you have sex with.
I'm not condoning what he did but for better or for worse, it's part of the political world we live in and the whole proceeding interfered with a lot of people doing their job. People were out to get Clinton anyway they could. Now the same is happening with Obama.
