Was so excited after getting in for Leeds last night that it took me hours to get to sleep. Then i woke up at 4 and thought it was half past five and my alarm was about to go off so i started thinking about it again and then when i realised it was 4 o'clock, I couldn't get back to sleep.

Slightly wary of having GA as i haven't stood at a PJ show since London 2007 but I'm hoping there'll be a front section on the GA that we'll automatically get access to by having 10C tickets.

Can't see there being a separate GA and nor would I want this to happen. When I go and see PJ I want to experience the thrill of going mental and singing my heart out with a mass of other fans. I would guess GA will get you early entry to the show.

GA will be fine tho, EV won't let it get too out of hand!!!

Hmmm, seen some photos from when Bruce Springsteen played there and you can clearly see there were two barriers and two standing sections. Pearl Jam would go for that set up I'd have thought.

    I hope so!!

There were two barriers because Bruce had a walk way the full width of the stage across the GA - PJ don't tend to do that.

Do you know that because you were at the show? I'm not saying you're wrong but on the images I can find there is no walkway but a very definite division between two standing sections for his show at Leeds arena.

Pearl Jam had two barriers at The Point in Dublin in 2006 which was another relatively small arena. They didn't have two at London in 2007 or at any of their Manchester shows but I've never seen a second barrier used at the Manchester arena anyway.

I think if they have the option, they will use two barriers but I guess we'll find out on the night. From my point of view, I hope they do. It'd be much more preferable to be able to stand at the back of the first section with no fear of getting crushed. That's just my point of view and preference though, I appreciate that some people like getting squashed and crushed at gigs as it's all part of the experience. Twenty years ago, I felt the same but times change.

The show will be great whatever layout they decide to use I'm sure.

The ticket information for the fan club tickets clearly stated that GA tickets through the fan club would be for the sections nearest the stage, with the exception of Milton Keynes and Berlin which would be just all open standing with no front or back section.

Now that would be a perfect show.

Only thing I have experienced in that venue to date is an Orchestral version of "The Snowman" with my little kid. To be fair, I was impressed by the orchestra, and what a venue, but would much prefer to see Eddie Vedder in there!!

Was there any GA available during the public sale?
I got in at 9:00 sharp and was not able to get a GA. :(
When I realised that for seats you had to use another link all the good ones were already gone too.

ha ha - wouldnt have fancied it without the little fella. Taking him again this year actually.

Just wish something would be on there that I really do want to see. Debated going to see Roger Daltrey / Sting but tickets were too much for something that I'm not all that into.

Its a cracking venue though - and bonus of it being on the right side of Tyneside!! ;-)

I've seen Zappa Plays Zappa there a few times but that's it really. Is a really good venue. Handy that the tickets include your Metro travel as well.

Have seen some great gigs there. Sound is amazing! A Benaroya style acoustic evening with PJ would be outstanding!
