Stockholm has a retractable roof. Do they close it if the forecast calls for rain?

Over the last 10 years, us Americans have turned getting concert tickets....
Into the MOST MISERABLE day on this board.

Minor correction. That should probavbly read "Not Getting Concert Tickets" lol. If PJ was less popular in N.A. and everyone got tickets I have to hope the atmosphere on the board during draw days would quite different.

You can't really fault people for being bummed on the day they find out they don't have tickets to see PJ :(

but overall it looks like its easier to get tickets for the euro tour. Either their less fans over there or the ticket agency aren't quite so anal about fan club allocations for tickets.

There are definitely a lot less 10c members in Europe than the USA. It has never been difficult to get 10c tix for the European shows. Nothing like NY/Philly.

I only put in for one show-Leeds reserved. Did not get it. I now understand that there were only a small amount of reserved seats available-somehow I missed that in the 10c newsletter. Hopefully, I will do ok during the public sale.

Instead of the bitching and moaning that I saw after the NA lotto, there were a bunch of "available for trade" type comments. But yea definitely a lot less people got shut out of this than the NA drawing. For NA I won 1/3, for this I won 4/5, the one I lost was my own stupid fault for putting Res as a higher priority and GA as the 2nd to last priority. BUT I really do want a SEAT for Milan. Sue me. (see, American = crybaby, case in point!)

Stockholm and Oslo are indoors too. Yes, they are soccer stadiums, but with a roof. Stockholm has a roof that can be opened, but it will remain closed for PJ.

Pearl Jam will hook Vienna up, could be the show of the Tour, if I could go to any one show other than Amsterdam, and that is only because of the Coffee Houses, it would be Vienna

After seeing how smooth today went.
After seeing how simple it was for everyone to get their tickets today.
I think it is quite simple what Pearl Jam's next move should be.

    STOP touring the States!

    Just stick to Europe.

It would make things a whole lot easier.

So I haven't really paid attention to the venues or the seating.
But from what I am reading....

People were BETTER OFF putting in for GA this time around?
You had a better chance to get GA than to get reserved?

    Is that correct?
    Or am I fucking nuts?
    Both.

Not me. I entered the draw for Milan and Leeds and lost both. What annoys me us that under the old system I always manages to get pre sale tickets. This stupid lottery makes question why I bother paying to be a fan club member, especially when some people won multiple draws

I totally agree with this line.
Nice for the people who won several shows but a lot only participate for one show because of the money or time.
They should encounter that with the lottery system, first the solo visitors.
For now the big travelers got the news first and the solo followers more then 2 hours later.
I was lucky enough to get the Amsterdam tickets but i did not participate in any other drawings.
