One more day of work and we're on our way!! I'm a little freaked out about the GA area craziness people have mentioned about shows in Italy. This is my first time with 10c tickets- we're going to Trieste and then Vienna. I'm hoping to meet some of you at the pre-party. See you then!

I QUIT MY JOB FOR THIS TOUR!!! OH YEAH ITS ALMOST TIME!
I was initially a little apprehensive about the Italian madness as well, I have read many stories of rude/rough behavior...I decided to forgo the crush of fans at the front and just party at the back..Also, it occured to me that I'm an American and Italy has nothing on us for rudeness and roughness!! Those italian fellas better watch out or they get the crazy eyes! And if that fails I wonder, do Italian youngsters fistfight much? Cuz I have been round the schoolyard a time or two :D

I would have to respectfully disagree. Americans in the pit are not rude or rough on most part. Yeah, you'll find a stupid drunk or a jerk here and there, but the majority of people are kind and respectful. I've never been to a show in Italy, but I've experienced two shows in South America and I thought I was gonna lose my life there. I've never seen so much pushing, shoving or roughness at a US show as I did in Brazil and Argentina.

I wasn't concerned about the crowds in Europe until I got here. I have only been in tourists spots yet but people have been mad rude. as far as personal space and just sidewalk etiquete anyway.

Doesn't sound like you're enjoying your stay in Europe so much.
Tourist spots has a tendency to attract, well yeah, tourists... so it makes sense if there are different opinions on how to interact, and no common rules. Try to step away from the tourist areas, and you will probably get a better expression of the city you're in and the cultural guidelines and social behavior in the specific country.

As far as the concerts goes, i wouldn't expect much personal space in any country....
But i would expect fantastic concerts! :D

On the contrary I'm loving it. Only complaint is the water and the doushebags who think they are special.

I read that the water in Amsterdam is normal. I'm gonna wash my hair for like 3 hours tonight when I get there.

Do I need my passport if I'm coming by train from Belgium? I have it in my purse but my hand luggage is not packed for airport security.

I'm more worried about my small wife at the Italian show. But, we can always move back if it gets too rough.

Yeah, I don't think we want to stand in line all day. It seems like anywhere in 10c GA should be great. Maybe we'll try to get close for the Vienna show.
