I will be interested to hear answers given after boots are released. Right now this is pretty much guessing based on set lists.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I'm not getting this. I thought the question was regarding the shows themselves and not the boots. That's 2 completely different animals. When did listening to a show after it happens get intertwined with how good the show itself was? I guess it's a result of us all sitting outside and following set lists?
The show is the show. I don't see how I could possibly comment on how good a show was if I wasn't there. The boot is just another live album.
Oh, well. I guess I'll never understand the rating of concerts that you weren't at (as opposed to rating the recording).Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.0 -

If you're only rating shows you attended then this makes sense, but it is pure speculation to rate the shows based on set lists alone. But after listening to boots I could see people making valid arguments for which shows were best.
You can rate however you wantsevered hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31
