nope. Detroit '14 will be show number 7 for me. To say it would be emotional for me if they played it, after the last year i've had personally, would be an understatement.
6 times overall and 5 times as the opening song. My all time favorite version is 11-4-1995 with Wrigley Field coming in a close second.

Oh - Released. I get it. At first I thought it was asking if I've ever been Release Ed. And thinking "what the hell?"
I've gotten it once - Wrigley.
"There's a $10,000 bill in it for you."
"Oh yeah? Which president's on it?"
"Uh, all of them. They're having a party. Jimmy Carter's passed out on the couch."

I've gotten it 2 out of 5. Can't remember if I replied already and am too lazy to look. Opener for the first time and was really hoping to have them play it for my brother and gf's first show at Phoenix. Was absolutely surprised and blown away when they went into it right from Long Road. My all time favorite song since the beginning and I could leave every show happy just seeing that one song.
3 times, though seems more than that. Well spaced.
1995 - Soldier Field 2010 - Indy 2013 - Wrigley
I think my fav opener is Wash...Pendulum was nice too, maybe after it feels more woven into the fabric of PJ history it has great potential to feel more solid as an opener. Though the way Matt's drums take the song out and a hard stop, that's pretty awesome...not sure it would have the same effect outdoors, but in the arena it just resonated. I digress.
It's amazing what you hear when you take time to listen.

Im hoping for some more shows but they dont come that close very often..Cinncy is a 6 hour drive,,tempting but I doubt ill make it.
I grew up in Charlottesville, and when I moved back a few years ago I never thought I'd get to see PJ here! Amazing experience, and I got lucky with family in Pittsburgh, friends in the Charlotte area, Baltimore isn't too far away, and my wife has family in Iowa so we're going to Moline.
Back to the topic at hand, was the second night of Amsterdam 2012 the latest "Release" had been played in a set?
