You might want to rethink that, section N/S 1/2 are usually only sold for highly popular shows because of restricted view. From the Theatre Monkey website:

"Most of side blocks N/S 1 and 2 are not used for end stage concerts as they are behind the stage. They are, on occasion sold to personal callers as restricted view seats at the last minute. Ask about them. You can often only see the very front of the stage, but at least it is close to the performers. These seats are worth trying for if anyone will sell them to you and you just want to "be there", but remember that you may well not see as much as you hope."

It's always nice to be "close" to the stage, but you'll probably get a better view from your other seats... although I don't know what you're other seats are! The fact that N/S 1/2 seats started appearing late suggests to me that they weren't initially available, but were released when they realised how high demand was.

Couldn't possibly have put them on 'Buy it now' at face value eh.

Just had a little look on eBay and there are 98 pairs of tickets for Wembley!!! :(
If you all stop hitting refresh for just two minutes, I can buy my tickets...
  • I've got 2 x 10c tickets that I'd more than likely be interested in swapping for 2 x seats in block N6, N8, S6 or S8. My other half is going to struggle seeing over peoples head down on the floor!

And you will be ripping people off because it'll go very high in price...so why shouldn't people be spoiling your auction?

Why didn't you put a buy it now option for face value? Then you wouldn't be touting them.

You're as bad as the rest of them.

OK, Im no TOUT> i have been following pjam for years. If i put them on buy it now @ face value, then a tout buys them & resells them for triple what he payed, whos the winner there?!?!

Plus I'm not going to sell them through a forum or a website i have never heard of.
I got up at 9am, i waited on the phone & net and earned this tickets. So you lot can stop being pricks..

On this very forum, there are people crying out for tickets. These people were not so lucky this morning. If you really were a genuine fan you would sell it on here, or on ScarletMist (they sell unwanted tickets for face value) You are simply trying to make money off those less fortunate than you.

You clearly don't know anything about the band; selling their tickets for above face value is against their wishes and not allowed. If you were part of the 10c you'd have your membership revoked. A true fan would sell them on here to a fellow fan.

For the record, a tout is someone who sells tickets for more than they are worth. That is what you are. I hope your eBay adventure is sabotaged ;)

I just said, I dont want to sell them through a forum or scarletmist website. I have never sold anything through a dodgy site/fourm.
I do know about the band, trust me. I know they hate all the touts & there big war with ticketmaster. I have had to buy from ebay twice to see Pjam at the Astoria & Point. I like ebay, so what they overcharge, but atleast i can always get a ticket.

I have put 3 tickets @ £50, so I stand to lose £70 from face value.

There is a set of 3 tickets for £250, mine is at £50. So am i still a tout?

    yeah

cos it WILL go above £50. that cant be your basis of argument unless it ends in like 10 mins. if you cap the auction at what you paid then you arent a tout

  • but what if fans refuse to buy from ebay? the whole touts making loads of money issue isn't right... but if people are prepared to pay ludicrous prices then they're just going to keep on getting them and selling them... c'mon people - make a stand!

Yes, because you're aiming to make money from it. That's the reason you put it on eBay.

Damn, I wish I could come to London. I was at Night 2 in Y2K, when I was living and studying at UCL. It was my first PJ show and was completely unreal.

Well I'm happy with my S2's. I did the distance thing at Turin last year, so I'm pleased to be a bit closer to the stage!

Didn't think I was gonna get any after multiple crashes during the Ten Club sale and being stuck at work this morning, but the Mrs pulled through for me and got hold of a couple!

Hi I f'ing hate tickettouts who stop genuie fans getting tickets for gig's. I have sold tickets on e-bay before but ony on buy it now and always for face value, I only sell when reason I cannot make the gig.

I got so pissed of with touts that I even wrote a letter to e-bay complaing about it, they should only allow buy it now auctions on tickets for the face value.

I have deleated the reply but basically --- they dont give a shit.. they make too much money out of it..

Maybe if more people wrote to them it may make them listen....

    tell you what

i see you have put your name down on the "london crew" thread

if i were you i'd stay clear of some of the people on that thread... especially the ones that had to pay £300 for a ticket to the Astoria gig!

they might not take to kindly to having someone standing next to them in the line who sold their tickets for 5 times face value

nothing dodgy with this forum either... someone could send you a cheque for the tickets and if you wait until its cleared then thats fine surely!!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
  • yeah, come on choudder boy end your auction and offer them up to the board for cost price, a true fan like yourself surely knows thats the best thing to do?

Exactly!.. I don't see his (Choudder_boy) argument about selling to fans here.. the person who's buying the ticket is the one at risk .. not the seller. What's to stop tout-boy cashing the cheque then not sending the ticket .. and if he IS going to the show surely it'd be easy enough to meet up with the person he'd sold the ticket to and hand it over in person!

Come on Choudder .. do the right thing, you know you want to ;)

Not sure just how "liable" I am if i bid £9999 on an old e-bay account that has all cards and addresses out of date - it's soooo tempting, but don't want to be up s*** creep without a paddle if things go wrong and i owe multiple bids of just under 10 grand each!

I am lucky to get my seated tickets in the D2 section after about 20 mins of trying, and I only saw them once last year at Reading Festival - which i thought was an awesome show. Eddie saying that the band "didn't come to England enough to deserve this kind of response" was spot on, but was hoping they'd place more shows than just this one in the UK. I'm very glad to have got tickets, but feel there a load of people making a LOAD of money due to the demand from one show.

why did your mates bother getting the tickets then?, i'l admit i foned wembley after i bought my tickets to see if any better ones came up and they didn't come up so i hung up and cancelled my transaction to give others the chance and IF i had have got beter seats, my tickets would be on here, not ebay, its wrong, ebay is organised touting when they aren't face value 'buy it now'.

I've been lucky enough to buy tickets for the raconteurs at face value on ebay, the seller was genuine, he had a better offer for the night and gave his tickets for FACE VALUE, what a nice genuine person.
