ticket question

So I live in Seattle and still haven't been able to get even one ticket...and yet I see so many people coming from other cities, many with 10C seats, and many who have already been to multiple shows on this tour. WTF? How does this happen? I don't begrudge anyone the opportunity to see the band--quite the opposite, I love seeing how many devoted fans are out there--but I also don't understand how "the system" works. Is it simply a matter of money giving some people more opportunities to get their hands on tickets? I'm confused. And bummed. I just want to see one show. Here, in the city where I live. And I can't afford to pay a scalper. (And even if I could, honestly, I don't think I would. I just don't think it's cool to support people like that). Argh. Thanks for reading. Did I mention I'm really bummed?
