yes initially they were hyper rare, and only sold very infrequently for charity auctions and the likes.....

the flood of those records came years later

no one knows tbh, but they were sold a few times on this site, and SLH confirmed I recall between 500-5000.

Info that came out early on was 1000 but I would guess more given the sales that took place

Damn - I preordered 2 from Ten Club and bought 1 from a indy record store because the 10C ones took awhile to arrive. All 3 are black. Missed Vault 3 and Sevens preorders. I've got no PJ luck.

My fear with all this stuff is paying that kind of money for something that later becomes available on the site for fifty bucks.

There's a listing on ebay right now for a red one for $600 and there is still 4 days (I think) left in the auction so $525 probably won't even be an "ebay price".

My guess, these red ones will sell for a lot of $$ especially since no one knows how rare they are. When they prove to be not terribly rare like white backspacer, they will drop steeply.

But right now, I wouldn't be surprised if some on ebay go for $1,000

There's also one for $225.00 with 7 hours left....So who knows what ebay prices really are. Everyone has a different limit on what they want to spend on vinyl. I'm looking for a set of the ten reissue 7" set, there's one on ebay now for 4500..its not worth that IMO.
