LOOKING FOR ITEMS 2 RAFFLE-TORNADO RELIEF FOR CENT ILLINOIS

I'm going to put on a raffle to benefit families that were affected by the nasty storms that went thru last Sunday that left several hundred homes completely leveled, there are several hundred homes with damage and thousands left without power or gas. It looks like a war zone and many families lost everything. I personally know 9 families with kids that have nothing left. Im even boarding a high school friend and his pregnant wife that lost everything. It will take these towns years to recover from what took just 1 hour or less to destroy. The damage stretched across 5 towns and there are a thousand people in need of assistance. I've got several items from my personal collection and I'm trying to see if anyone would be interested in donationg items so we can have a raffle here on lost dogs, no items are too small. I will post more as soon as I can. If you have any items you can part with please pm me. All funds will go toward food, shelter, water, baby care and help to those in need. I appreciate the help!! My in-laws live about 5 miles south of Washington. We were in town visiting for the weekend and witnessed this shit first hand. We spent 45 minutes in a powerless, old basement of a church with candles. We sang church hymms and prayed as the sirens were blaring nonstop. Its the first time I ever was truly frightened by the weather. Like I said, we were 5 miles south of the twister and I've never witnessed wind like this. It seemed to make a "U" right around us. I have nothing to donate, but I'll certainly be in for some raffle tickets or whatever you decide to with this.

The storm hit us fairly hard in Tinley Park and there was a touch down in the next town over. NOWHERE near the devastation or damage of the folks further south.

Good luck with the raffle for good cause. We had tornado sirens go off too here in OH, but no damaging winds. Really scary weather, especially at night!!
