Ive been still going through Justin's beginner course.
Im on Stage 2 and doing well. I know all of these chords so far, and so I think Im going to to the next stage (3) so I can start working on one-minute changes with G and C. Stage 4 has the major 7 chords, and I don't actually know those.
I don't have that much experience with Barre chords, I have played them a bit though when I first was learning a couple years ago before I dropped it and so I couldn't help but try one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs. I mean cmon, sure it's above my skill level but I had to at least give the intro a shot:
I have a huge request,

So I haven't had much time due to Thanksgiving, and have now picked up the guitar once more for more practice. The one minute change chord exercizes on justinguitar are so useful. I enjoy going through his course.
Anyways, since I was getting better on making the chords clear I recorded myself doing Elderly Woman the whole thing. I dunno what happened on the first chorus...Strangely enough I think I sounded best on the last verse which is weird since that's the hardest part vocally and I'm not a singer. But I think I held the rhythym pretty consistently. This comes from playing rock band guitar on Xbox while doing vocals I guess lol
(edit: For some reason the audio gets distorted on youtube a bit. On photo booth my "Here I aaaaaam" sounded pretty great, but for some reason it sounds like it's too loud or distorts the audio on youtube. It didn't happen on photobooth...weird)
