Lots of cool stuff!! For some reason I especially like the photo someone's dad took of the Beatles on Ed Sullivan - there is so much about that that is a time capsule!
I collect signed celebrity baseballs, and love to get different bands to sign them.
My favorite one is All 6 Ramones on 1 baseball, that I got in person at a Tower Records In Store signing in NYC. Johnny was a baseball collector himself, and he spoke to me for a few minutes about collecting.
I don't know what's more amazing: that you have a baseball signed by 6 Ramones, or that all 6 Ramones signatures actually fit on one baseball!
I have a baseball signed by every living member of the 500 home run club as of like 1994-ish (maybe a year or two earlier...I forget exactly when I got it).
I think the list is:
TED WILLIAMS
REGGIE JACKSON
WILLIE MAYS
HARMON KILLEBREW
MIKE SCHMIDT
ERNIE BANKS
WILLIE MCCOVEY
EDDIE MATHEWS
HANK AARON
FRANK ROBINSON
MICKEY MANTLE
I'm not super knowledgeable about baseball, but that seems like a serious collector's group of baseballs and autographs to have! Impressive!
I won a radio contest years ago to have Three Days Grace play in my tiny apartment living room. Really nice guys. Got my guitar signed by the whole band. They were huge PJ fans. Kinda wish it would've been a band I was more into but it was a cool experience nonetheless. Barry the guitar player is by far the nicest celeb I've ever met. Such a cool guy.

Hopefully they kept the pyrotechnics to a minimum?

yeah they kept it under control. It was just a short acoustic set.
Linkin Park's Thousand Suns vinyl signed by all the members of the band. My son got one of his cd's signed too, we attended the fan summit August 2012 in Camden, NJ. It was an all day event included backstage tours, lunch and then a meet and greet, oh and then the show that night too.
