Ha ha I just responded to another member. I'm trying to figure out what record I have because there are so many different copies and variations. Here is my description

    Led Zeppelin 1
Orange Lettering Grey stripe at the base of front cover Matrix: A side – 588171 A//1; B Side 588171 B//1 On both sides the second '8' has been scratched out and replaced with a hand etched '8' Red/ Plum labels UPTIGHT AN' OUTASIGHT' Atlantic Appreciation Society credit Printed and made by MacNeill Press Ltd Made in England vinyl sleeve with a marking in blue at the bottom that says "plastic bags can be dangerous" Side 1: 1,2,3,5 Warner Bros/ 7 Arts 4. Jewel Music Side 2: 2,4 Warner Bros/ 7 Arts 3. Jewel Music

The cover is still glossy and has no stains or marks other than a few small creases
The vinyl looks like it has never been played

It's the "1st" UK pressing after the covers with turquoise lettering were recalled.

It's worth between $50 and $100, depending on the condition and your buyer.

Of course, someone like me would offer you $40 and spin the hell out of it, whereas a more serious collector might offer you $120 and keep it under wraps in a cool, dark room until s/he dies.

If you had the version with the turquoise lettering, you'd have hit the Led Zeppelin jackpot.

Still an awesome thing to have.
