**WARNING: Possible FAKE '98 PJ PHOENIX Poster on eBay**

I understand eBay links can't be shared on this forum. Having said that, for anyone considering the '98 PJ Phoenix poster currently for auction on eBay be forewarned: it looks to be a fake.

I say "looks to be a fake" because while I haven't heard back from the seller confirming what the text on the bottom right in the image field says, the real poster reads "art by Mr. Downtown" while the fake reads "art by Ames" and the seller makes mention of "Poster by Ames Bros" in the auction title and with the help of the zoom feature the text appears too short to read "Art by Mr Downtown" but rather "Art by Ames"

If I hear otherwise from the seller, I'll immediately delete this thread with my sincerest apologies.

    Are there a lot of fakes out there. is there any thing you should look when buying a older poster?
    i have noticed that the frank kozik neil young 93 print looks funny around some of the lettering.

    The '96 Istanbul, '98 Phoenix, '98 Adelaide, '98 Hartford, '98 Melbourne, and '98 Raleigh have been bootlegged and there are known fakes of these out there. If you know what to look for, it's fairly simple to distinguish between a real example and a fake one.
