85xxx last time in DC I was 5th row (floor was a weird layout up front if i remember correctly).

Went to many shows that tour (camden, boston, e. rutherford, gorge, DC) but DC wasn't my favorite show of the bunch...very good, but not great.

hoping the neighborhood show will be great this time.

I do recall Ed saying they spent the night in Mt Pleasant the night before the show...any idea where they would've stayed or drank? Does Ian McKaye (sp?) have a place over there?

I'm 307xxx, so unless one of us lands in rows 1,3,9,10 we will probably be next to each other.
  • 410,XXX come on random chance, don't let me down. The only plus side is that I'm close enough to metro from Alexandria. I wonder if sitting up on my roof would be closer than my 10C number.

410xxx, aka: The usher seating you ;-)

Hopefully they will be better than other fan site tickets I have gotten over the years. Coming from Columbus, OH. Need my PJ fix. Debating on getting a hotel or camping out. trying to make this trip as cheap as possible.
  • I'm a newbie to 10c seats, although I've been a member for a few years. I'm way up to 353,XXX. I was happy to "secure" my 10c seats and can't wait!

Roche, how about DC101 letting Ed do a "Self Pollution Radio III"? We haven't had one in almost 10 years and they are so much fun.

    This is genius!

I know you have "powers", man.

If you can't get it "okayed", can you just have Elliot lock the entire management staff out of the building when he gets there in the morning ... ?

you can climb up and come in from the roof or fire escape ... Diane will be posting guard at the windows, and ole' fatso ... er ... flounder and kyle will be roaming the halls with water gun uzis making sure no one gets in from the stairs.

Eddie (and the band!) can helicopter in onto the roof. It will be fucking rockstar megacool. Hell you could even do it Beatles style ON the roof ... lock the door. Drag the board topside.

It will be like "Airheads" only with Eddie Vedder ... and there will be no tape to make him sound neutered.

    IT WILL BE AWESOME.

    GODDAMNIT ROCHE! MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Is anyone going to the Nationals game the day of the show? The play Texas at 1:30 pm. I'm thinking of attending but wondering what the effects of sitting in the warm sun for 3 hrs, fighting the metro crowd afterwards, minimal rest before the PJ show.

    193xxx see u there!
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

  • I sat beside a member on two different nights during 06. Our numbers must be close. She and I were beside each other for Camden Night 1 and DC for the next show. Dont know what happened to her for Camden 2. It was better that she wasnt around for the tamborine scrum during Baba anyways. My apologies to the guy that ended up in our row. I jumped late but somehow on the way down my hands caught the inside rim of the tambourine that Ed tossed, and the rest is history. My fiance ended up being black and blue from breaking the guys fall. She still won't let me live that one down. She just doesnt understang the importance of owning a piece of history like that.
    Looking forward to this show!!!
