Best show that I have seen in this current era of PJ.. followed closely by Wrigley 2.

I had a fantastic time at Boston/Fenway 2, but this show is still the most special-est of recent years for sure.

Everything was perfect... the weather, the fall colors, beautiful C'ville (my favorite town in VA), the arena is great, merch lines were good, I walked in at 7 and was three rows back in GA and of course the exquisite set list....and only an hour drive home for me!

I mean it kind of sucked... they just played Jeremy and Even Flow 15x each.  The speakers were broken and Stone got drunk and missed the show.

One of the best concerts I've been to by any band. I remember walking out in shock from what I had witnessed. Took my nephew to the show who l think was mostly interested in going to skip school and he was blown away by how good the band was. I found out last year that he still has his ticket in his wallet. A great night neither of us will ever forget.

Cutz just ignore what is in the 16 pages of raves here - it's all a cruel joke on you.  None of us were there.  Not even Stone.

  • One of the best days of my life!  Instead of going to work I went to JPJ, got in line about 7:30 am, got on the rail, left with Ed's microphone cover that fell off when the mic dropped during "Faithfull," and they fucking played "Breath" and "State of Love and Trust" back to back!

Having just witnessed the Seattle 2 Home Show, I was thinking of this show because this show was near the top of my list too.  I don't even know how the top 3 or 5 shows attended are sorting on my list now, I just know that Charlottesville was a force to be reckoned with, and I witnessed a major awesome disturbance in the Cosmos on Friday night at Seattle 2, so... the Earth shook for me at both shows and I came away from both that much more in love with PJ, their music, these fans, and the energy and magic that is an amazing Pearl Jam concert.

Thanks to everyone who had anything to do with the magic, which includes every single attendee or person working at each venue, and of course the band and crew and their families!

I was at both also, and in this current 'era' of PJ shows, call it last 10 years, C'ville had always been tops.  I believe Sea2 eclipsed it.

Very fortunate.  Was at the VS show too and there's eclipsed them easily in my mind.

After vs, the set was just okay,  same with ten.  The shows we're talking about held strong all the way through.. like Moline!
