Here's a few things that stand out in Game 1, some I don't really see changing, some obviously will...

    - Klay and Draymond a combined 6-28
    - Korver and Williams a combined 0 points. Frye didn't even play. These guys are colossal defensive liabilities so if they don't score they are useless. These guys will obviously play better,
    - Warriors 4 turnovers
    - Cave were 2-12 when Klay was the primary defender. Best defensive 2 Guard in the NBA by a wide margin.
    - Cavs can't have LeBron guarding KD this whole series. He used way too much energy on that end. Don't know what the answer is though. Old man Jefferson is the only other serviceable option and that's not a good option.
    - Love and Tristan can't defend pick and rolls and Tristan can't bully Zaza and Draymond on the boards and when that happens he resorts to fouls and essentially checking out mentally.
    - Warriors missed 28 open shots, most nights they hit at least half those. Cavs defense is severely flawed.
    - Love had the most invisible 15 points ever.
    - Cavs can't overplay the 3 again. Leaving wide open lanes for KD was an awful strategy. They'll pack in their defense on Sunday, as they should have done last night. If Klay starts hitting his shots though it won't matter. Might even be worse as the Warriors can put up 130-140 when they are hitting 3's which they didn't last night.
    - Defense matters, hence why Leanord is the real MVP. Kyrie is an awful defender and LeBron can't use everything he has on D. Warriors defense across the board is superior. I know we all devalue the regular season but they were a great defensive team for the first 95 regular and postseason games. That's a pretty good trend.

Remember last year, GSW won game 1 by 15 and game 2 by 33.  A lot can happen yet...

But I hope the Warriors make it a quick sweep!

Cleveland having to work way to hard. If they don't adjust now this is going to be another blow out. Can't leave guys open for uncontested threes like this and beat GS.

Same thing happened last year.  Let's see what happens.

    Cavs defense sucks though...

They need a Dennis Rodman type player, an enforcer.

We will see what happens in Cleveland but the addition of Durant was too much for Lebron. Lebron was gassed by half way through the 3rd. The extra effort having to guard Durant looks to be too much. Love played what will probably be his best game of the series and Cavs still lost by 20. Warriors in 5 this time I think.

Reporter: Is this a case where you have to defend home court?
Lebron: Well, I mean, are you a smart guy?
    Reporter: I think so, yeah.
Lebron: You think so, ok. So we don't defend home court, what happens?
Reporter: Well, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
    Lebron: I'm asking you.
Reporter: Well, you guys are looking at getting swept.
Lebron: All right, so that answers your question.

 Lebron ain't got time for redundancy.

We always have last year to fall back on! All we need are these few things to fall into place and this will be an epic series…

    1. Curry to start playing like crap like he did last year. You know when he couldn’t beat Tristan Thompson of the dribble.

    2. Durant to start playing like Harrison Barnes. You know, shooting 15% from the floor and completely melting down mentally.

    3. ZaZa and McGee both start playing like Festus Ezeli for the remainder of the series. Fouling 3 point shooters, providing no interior defense and missing wide open layups.

    4. Andre Iguodala to suddenly come down with a back ailment and hardly be able to walk for the remainder of the series.

    5. Draymond picks a fight and gets suspended.

Listen Cleveland played great in games 5,6,7 last year but the amount of variables that fell into place for that to happen are virtually impossible to re-create. Their only real shot is to slow the game down dramatically which Lue seems to want no part in. I still feel like they should get a game because they are a great team with Championship pride. Kyrie and LeBron are good enough to win one, maybe two games by themselves but there’s a reason they are 3 point underdogs on their own floor on Wednesday.

Great points but Lebron runs the team...

Interesting trade scenario on the internet today, Celtics might want Thompson. With the 1.2 billion it would cost the Warriors to keep everyone together for 4 years, would the Warriors move him for the 1st pick in the draft (plus some other picks/pieces on both sides)?

    Warriors by 6 tonight.

the closing 11-0 run was horrible on the Cavs part....defense sucked and lebron tries to turn into assist guy.

I was sooooo disapointed in the Cavs and closing out that game last night.

You have to score.  You can't miss shots then let the opposing team drain 3's.

You shouldn't change your game plan at the end.  Keep attacking.  Why is Lebron the damn PG now?

The final run at the end of the game was not a shock. Lue is a horrible coach and Lebron needs to realize he isn't 25 anymore. Kerr made sure Curry and Durant got rest at start of 4th so they would have fresh legs to close it out. Lebron needs to sit on the bench for more than a minute at a time.

There in lies the problem.  Either Lue isn't doing the coaching or he and Lebron are both on the same page and are both coaching wrong.

Same old Cavs team now.  Every game they start off slow and get momentum then fizzle at the end.

I don't know what the Cavs do at this point to get better. Do they keep the band together knowing Lebron is reaching the end of his peak and will need more help. Love has turned into a 3 point spot shooter on this team. He is not worth what the Cavs are paying him. Very good player being paid as a #1 option. Thompson is also making too much for what he does. Cavs have a lot of bad salary thanks to Lebron the GM.

Only today off between games... man if 2 days isn't enough rest for the Cavs, they're doomed.

If Thompson plays like how he has in the past then he would be worth the money but he doesn't play like that every day.

Love is doing all the little things that makes him great.  What I haven't seen from him is the 90' fastbreak passes.  Man can he pass the ball.

They need to have Kyrie drive and kick out to Korver or Love on the perimeter and focus on 2nd chance points.
