I am actually wondering if 10C will give an offical "go ahead" to trade. Maybe there is some thing in the reworks????? I find it hard to believe that they would abandon the 2006 boots for trade so soon.

I agree with you Circus.. why didn't they release the 2005 last year?? I think it ain't going to happen...

I don't think they gave the ok- the 05/06 shows bostonjim posted are not official basecamp bootlegs and can therefore be traded.

    hold you horses there...
    i don't think that's a 'go' from 10c.
those 05-06 shows weren't available in the first place,
    so they don't really count.

I'm sure the 10 club has recieved about 50,000 email this week about this. There's no reason to panic or be hysterical. They'll let everbody know when they feel like it. Its not like these shows are being wiped off the face of the earth. Everybody SERIOUSLY needs to chill out. I use sendspace as back up disc for things and I have all these shows ready to go so just be patient. I will post them as soon as its cool to do so. Until then please relax! These shows haven't even been offsale for 12 hours yet.

No. But like BostonJim says, be patient, and we'll hear something. The world won't end because you can't download the basecamp boots for a few days.

Also, i've just checked the basecamp program, its still online, with only the 93 Vault show available for download, so that will remain a no-no. This indicates to me they are freeing up some bandwidth for the 07 tour, possibly with a few vault shows as well...

I really like the idea of more vault shows.

I'm not trying to sound like a prick, but we're not going to hear anything about this because it's been a longstanding policy of theirs to trade freely when they're not available. They obviously wouldn't have mentioned it in the announcement that the 9th would be the last day because that's just poor business. However there's no need for a "green light" or anything from them because that's just stupid and has never happened in the past.

There is already a thread for people that understand this so check it out and enjoy!

Actually, you are completely wrong on this point and you do sound like a total prick. The band did in fact give permission to trade the '00 and '03 tours. I'm not 100% on this, but I believe it was in the rumor pit where this matter was addressed. I don't know where you think you found this "long standing policy" but you are totally wrong. For me personally, I refuse to post my links publicly in fear that the files will be removed and out of respect to the band. I don't know if you have ever uploaded a show before, and I'm guessing you have not, its a time consuming process and I would be upset if my links were taken down by request of the band. It would be waste of many hours of my time. If you have some shows to upload, feel free to do so. You test the waters. I'm not willing to risk my time and links till I hears its ok. Don't call people stupid when this is exactly how the process went in the past. You should some research. I don't think its right that people are already posting these links on the bands OWN site. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet. I'm all for spreading the jam and I have all these shows so I could care less if it takes 5 years for them to give the go ahead. Its ignorant people like you that make me want to remove my links from this page.

Totally fair enough. I just don't think it matters whether it's 5 minutes or 5 years after they've stopped being available for sale. If you want to agree to disagree, that's fine, i'm not aiming for any hostility. I just feel it falls under the same guidelines as all the other shows have. I posted my links b/c i don't think i've broken any rules. If i'm asked to remove my links, that's fine, I'm not going to get upset, i'll just accept it as being bad judgement on my part.
Also, my posting of the links doesn't mean i have any less respect for the band. If you can't get the shows at 5 minutes past midnight, you also can't get them in a year. What's the difference? People just start sharing and trading right away. I don't feel there's a problem in that.

I'm just not willing to put up 90 links here and risk them being reported to sendspace. Having links removed is one thing, but the band could have your files permanently removed from sendspace or megaupload for copyright violations if they don't want these traded yet. More than likely, the band is cool with everybody trading away but I'm going to wait for the ok as that is how it has always worked in the past. I would have suggested testing the waters a bit by posting only a few links as opposed to saying "screw it" and posting everything. That's just me. All that I'm saying is that the band gives, gives, and gives and this shouldn't be taken for granted. A little patience probably would have been the right thing to do. Just my 2 cents.

By "longstanding", I'm referring to when this issue first arose with the 2000 boots since that's the first time this would have come up. The question was asked and they said that once they were no longer available, it was fine to trade them. My point was that there was no "official" announcement regarding the 2003 shows and that going forward, it's should be common knowledge that it's ok. Personally, I'm impatient and buy them the day they're available, so it's not like I'm on some type of crusade here to benefit from anything. I'm just aware of their policies regarding this exact matter and think it needs to be pointed out.

Could someone possibly re-upload Salt Lake City night 2 from 1995? It's November 2nd, 1995. The megaupload links on the Army Reserve website don't work anymore.

    thanks in advance.
