***2007 Boots Update***
Currently there are bootlegs of the first 4 shows (Lisbon - Madrid - Munich - Katowice) in circulation. The first 2 are available to download from the Army Reserve in FLAC & mp3 with Artwork and Photos (see link in my sig).
Similarly, Munich will be available soon. The Katowice boot that is currently circulating was recorded directly to mp3 format and as such at the moment there are no plans to upload a FLAC version to the AR as this would be pointless.
A second recording of Katowice has surfaced, and will be circulating shortly. If the sound quality is superior to the initial recording then it will be made available on the AR, instead of the current boot. This would be available in FLAC as well as mp3.
For those interested, the Nova Rock show was also recorded, and will again be circulating shortly, and thus will be available on the AR.
At the current time, there are no known recordings from Wembley on Monday night.
Finally, please remember it is common courtesy within the trading community to wait until two weeks after a show has passed before requesting a bootleg of it - these shows are being brought to us by tapers who have gone out of their way to bring us these recordings - we are not dealing with basecamp here folks!

Thanks, burning! I had a lot of fun putting that together - and am actually still missing the correct mp3 of Don't Believe in Christmas (I think the vinyl was the soundcheck, which is not what I have) -

Thanks for the update. I'm curious, have you already created the artwork for the entire tour? If yes, do you plan on posting artwork for concerts (e.g. Poland) that you don't post because of a mp3 recording?"Underneath this smile lies everything - all my hopes, anger, pride and shame."0 -

Now Available:
1994-04-10 Boston Garden, Boston, MA
1994-04-11 Boston Garden, Boston, MA
1994-04-12 Opheum Theater, Boston, MA
Background:
In April 1994, Pearl Jam went through one of the most turbulent periods of their entire career. The Grunge phenomenon had reached its peak, and in support of their 2nd album, Vs., barely a night went by on the closing leg of their album tour without the band making reference to the fact that they despised being 'icons' and 'poster-boys' for the MTV generation. They had stopped making music videos, and would grant interviews only to friends such as Cameron Crowe, who they felt would represent them fairly, instead of try to present them as the media wanted them to be seen.
On the 7th of April, the bands' lives would be forever altered when it was announced that the body of Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain had been discovered at his Seattle home. Cobain's death left the band as the leaders of the Grunge generation, and the media pressure (On Eddie in particular) intensified as all eyes turned on them.
At first it was too much; the band considered cancelling all remaining tour dates and flying home, and Vedder destroyed his hotel room in a fit of rage and despair.
But they pulled together, and within days hit Boston for 3 dates that would signal the end of the Vs. tour (excluding a TV appearance for SNL and a fanclub only show in NYC). The band would play 2 of the last shows at the famous Boston Garden, before it was demolished, and follow it with a smaller show at the Orpheum Theater. These are widely agreed to be 3 of the best shows the band has ever played.
Often as a live act, the band is split historically into shows pre and post 1998. Before, the shows are often described as more youthful and energetic, but the word that appears most often when earlier performances are discussed is intensity. This is never more accurate than when describing 'The Boston Trilogy'.
Throughout the 3 nights Eddie mocks fans who chant his name, and chastises those who look at him as a hero. The band perform almost their entire catalogue, including hits (such as Jeremy and Even Flow), B-sides (Alone & Hard To Imagine), new songs from the then unreleased Vitalogy (Tremor Christ, Corduroy, Not For You) and a handful of covers by artists ranging from Dead Boys to Neil Young to The Beatles. Many of the songs would dissapear from the setlists for years afterwards (Breath wasn't played again until '98, Dirty Frank until '06!) while others would become extremely rare for years (Rats, Why Go?).
Now you can download these 3 shows and experience Pearl Jam at its raw, aggressive best. The shows are available in FLAC format and mp3s. Each of the shows also has CD artwork and source information, which you may download if you so wish. Download links are found at the bottom of the post.
Setlists:
Night 3 (Orpheum Theater)
Main Set:
Oceans, Even Flow, Sonic Reducer, State of Love and Trust, Hard to Imagine, Immortality/(Hey Hey, My My), Go, Animal, Glorified G, Daughter/(Suck You Dry), Alone, Not for You, Better Man, Rats, Blood
Encore:
Release, Tremor Christ, Once, Fuckin' Up, Dirty Frank, Yellow Ledbetter, Improv, Rearviewmirror, Elderly Woman, I've Got a Feeling
Enjoy these recordings, and remember, only FLAC format is acceptable when participating in trades.
So, I was recently over in Germany at the Munich show (a part of the 10c travel package) and when I got back, I was poking around for the live recording.
While I was over there, one of the girls on the trip said I should come to the pit and post ... she though I'd had enough history and stories to share, until now, I've lurked a bit, never posted. (hello Denise, pics coming soon, say hi to Paul).
So, with that in mind, when trying to find the live set, I thought of no better place to turn then the PJ community. Well I found the Germany set (which was sensational) ... but, I found this ... night three in Boston April 1994, the show that closed out the tour, the show I thought they'd play forever .... it's the show that this band made "the leap" in my mind ... from a great band to THE band for me.
There is no way I can put into words the memories that came flooding in when I saw, and eventually listened to this ... I immediately pinged two of the girls I went with that night, one now in Florida, the other back in Mass (me, now in California). We recalled so much about that night ... how crazy it was ... all these songs we never heard of. Funny, I'd tell the story about this show to friends out here, tell them about Ed going on a his little diatribe about bands he likes that no one knows, which, led into them playing a string of songs which at the time (and until I saw this) I thought were covers that were truly amazing .... turns out it was Not For You and Betterman off the forthcoming Vitology album (still my favorite) ... when's the last time they played Betterman and the crowd *didn't* sing?
That note about Dirty Frank .... "Many of the songs would dissapear from the setlists for years afterwards (Breath wasn't played again until '98, Dirty Frank until '06!)" ... *floored* me!
Anyway ... I immediately signed up to the pit to just say thank you. A big thank you. Christmas come early this year."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

Before the band began releasing official boots, the sound quality is pretty hit or miss, I'd say... what pre-2000 shows have a high quality recording? Melbourne 98, Berlin 96, Atlanta 94, Pink Pop 92, and Unplugged are really the only ones I've managed to find so far. Any guidance here would be very much appreciated..."You are everything, and everything is you. Me, you... you, me -- it's all related."0
