    2 by a significant margin.
41 PJ shows from 1995 to 2023...plus 6 EV solo shows.  St. Paul and Austin shows for 2023.

I was at both. Both were great, but 2 by a little, just because it seemed the crowd and band were more into it.

2 had a better setlist for sure!

I know I am in the minority, but I still like MSG 2010 night one over night two. There was magic in the air!

That's not to say night two sucked, but night 1 was incredible!

both AMAZING. On paper, they look very close. But not the case. There was some special magical shit floating in the air during night 2. Easy answer. Instant classic show.

  • I had a blast on night one and thought it would be hard to match, but night two was just ridiculous. First time hearing Blood, State of Love and Trust and Last Exit, which were all great. So bummed the weekend is over.

2 for sure. 1 was a great show, 2 was on a different level. crowd/vibe/energy.

even though chloe/crown was probably my favorite song from both nights.

IMHO, night 1 became a sound check compared to night 2.

    Cheers,

On paper, night 2 suffers from setlist point of view. No Binaural, Riot Act and Avocado. Which is a major down, IMO.

I hope the crowd energy and band performance compensate the setlist shortfall.

I like those records a lot but I'd hardly say that setlist suffered from anything. And I'm a guy who'd love to see them play Binaural straight through.

I think you are kind of blinded by "My show" syndrome. :)
I wasn't there so I think I can be more objective, at least from setlist assessment point of view.
Honestly speaking, I'd also take any setlist because I like all PJ songs. But I want setlists reflect a fairer distribution of the band's journey. Skipping entire 3 albums is a downfall for any setlist.
Someone said Night#2 setlist summed up to 1998 show + Unthought Known + LB, and this sums it all.
