You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but we are not all easily impressed. Sure all PJ shows are great, for the "Saturday night NYC" show it was a bit of a let down. Lots of lyric screw ups, no getaway or sleeping by myself, no rare songs on par with what has been recently played (Oceans, Otherside, Chloe/Crown). The last two shows, when I saw the setlist I thought "I can't believe I missed that show." Last night's setlist just wasn't like that, if I had missed the show, I wouldn't really care.
My bad. Your post was a tad confusing. All I read was whine whine whine complain. No rare songs....lyrical screw ups. Man I feel bad for you. The fact that you were let down by that performance tells me that this band can never live up to your expectations. Maybe it's time to step away for awhile.

On2legs....seats were incredible!!!! Thanks again for helping my friends out.
I ll write a review tomorrow but tonight was just sick. Amazing. My 50th show couldn't have been any better. No money song? You're right because The whole night was money. I love this band.

really dude, this isn't whining? um ok. you say that we aren't all easily impressed. you say saturday night was a let down. you mention lyrical screw ups (which is common), no getaway or sbm, and no rare songs.
so basically you're the type of dude that just wants songs he hasn't heard before so you can cross them off your "list". hey good for you! but all I know is that saturday night kicked ass. the crowd rocked and pearl jam rocked even harder. I'm glad they didn't play any rare shit because only the vast minority of the crowd would have known what the hell was going on. I know you would have been pumped to cross this song and that song off your list but I'd rather hear 20,000 people scream out the lyrics to present tense or in hiding (not rare songs but not songs played every day) than see 200 people (me one of them) rock out to something like just a girl. the show was freaking awesome. get out of your rare song elite mind set and appreciate the entire spectrum of the show. Tons of "epic" shows were just shows with normal songs: i.e. randall's night 2 and msg 9/11/98 both of which I was on the rail in front of ed.

Yeah, really. The only whining here is what you are doing, and I don't understand why you don't have something more important to do than to whine about my opinion. So basically you're the type of dude that just says every show is great as long as you were at it, and if you had a good seat that makes the show epic. Hey good for you! But some of us have been to enough epic shows to know when it happens, and aren't affected by the venue or seat location.

I ve been to 51 pj shows and have sat in the front row and all the way to the last row in the uppers. I m pretty sure I know the difference between an epic show and a good show but way to show your arrogance. I don't recall saying Brooklyn 2 was epic just that it had a kick ass crowd and set list. I really enjoyed my kick ass seats this past tour; thanks for inquiring!

What Irony... You brag about how many shows you've been to, then lecture others about arrogance. It's also ironic because I've been to more shows than you, and I don't feel the need to be arrogant about it like you. But hey, in a few days you can resurrect this thread again, and keep trying to tell me that my opinion is wrong because you've seen 51 shows.
