I think in a few years it may. If LD is still around in that time, I can see people asking $1000 for a sealed one.

Looks like Vault #3 going from around $100 - $300. And the Benny goes for about $1200. Newly posted one with 9 days left at $305.

Maybe over time Vault #3 will be sought after like the Benny. Who knows

Watched several on Ebay sell for over 250 and now that the initial sale rush is over i'm sure the price will go up. Not at Benny status yet but I'd day its getting close to the soldier field vinyl.

We would have to know how many were printed though. I would wager well more than 2,000.

I have been watching eBay as I am looking for one pricing has gone down.

The first ones went for over $250 and that is what encouraged the $300 range 'buy it now' sales. But I really dont think any of those have sold.

This week...they have gone for $155 to $190.

If the supply dries up, then we can see the price rise again but new ones get posted daily.

Benny is a 10 year old item with at most 2,000 units out there. Sealed...even less (guessing maybe 500 sealed?).

not for a long time. and like someone else said, there's no mythology about it with it not being numbered like Benny. there could be 10,000 out there for all we know. this was on pre-order for days, if not longer, and Benny sold out in 2 days or something like that.

There were supposedly 3000 of them pressed. Sounds like a pretty realistic number to me.

With the packaging and the fact that it's an electric(not mostly acoustic like Benny)show, from the bands best live era, I could definitely see it reaching Benny status eventually.

Benny took some time to sell out. Yes there are more than 2000 Bennys. There are ones that are not numbered and a few still hanging out at the 10 club.

If this is a one-off Vault on vinyl release then maybe. But if from now on every Vault release is on vinyl then probably not.

right on. I dont think any album will ever reach Benny status. Id take a Benny over the PJ20 colored vinyls

Yeah I think folks forget this stuff takes time. And after the initial movement from folks that bought for a quick buck to folks that want to keep it, this stuff becomes harder to find available, creating the higher price. Unless they put out a vault vinyl every 6 months, this will get up there. As a matter of fact, a 2nd vault vinyl next year will increase the value of the first as now folks will need to go back and complete the set, and most will already be in the hands of folks that want to keep.

My prediction: this at least gets near and possibly surpasses Benny in 5 years. (especially when Benny gets reissued for PJ 25 ).

this is a great point. kinda like the first Third Man Records Vault. that thing goes for gobs of money now, but didn't really take off until more sets came out.

3000 vault #3 vinyls were produced, according to Tim Bierman. I inquired when I ran into him @ Easy Street. In my opinion, the vault 3 vinyl won't make it to Benny status.

There has to be more than that since they didn't even put them on sale yet like they said they are. I don't think this will get anywhere near Benny.

So a 2000 vs. 3000 press in my opinion doesn't hurt a potential value. Just a guess. As previously pointed out, Benny's meteoric rise in cost and rareity took time. Seems 10c has been releasing a vault about every year since 2011 - not counting the Vegas download, New Years show's as vaults. I sure hope they continue with the packaging they did for this #3. It's gorgeous.

Of course I would love to own Benny one day...But I would also love to own a Vault #3 one day as wel...and of course I know I blew it by not ordering one right away...but I'm hoping there is a chance down the road I can own one. That's why I hate/love limited things in general. It's cool having one..but sucks not having one.

Based on the recent eBay sales.....consistently around $200, with some approaching three bills!!

Yeah, I can't spend that much on a vinyl..it's a great show but not for that price. Oh well.
