LUCKY me... I scored SECOND ROW CENTER seats, right in front of Mike...
I COULD have died...and gone to heaven...it was that good!!!!!I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!
...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!0 -
Actually, during the first set break... I went to the rest room. As I was heading back to my seat on the floor, Security and EMT's came into the lobby area and had a Guy in a neckbrace on a stretcher. The kid was all bloodied up and looked unconscious.......
Hope he ended up ok....."Now when people ask me, where's my favorite place to play, I'll reply, Newark NJ!" -EV (solo '08)0 -
I heard a rumor that Boom left an upper decker in the concourse men's room during the first encoure. I was in the 6th row on Stone's side, just off the floor next to the stage. I stood on the railing in front of me and then accidently lost my balance, falling headfirst into the guy in front of me and landing on my back. Funniest thing though is that the guy goes to help me up and we realize that we know each other from work.....what a small world, we were both cracking up. When Eddie tripped a couple songs later, the guy behind me grabs me on the shoulder and says, "hey man, Eddie's doing his best impression of you!" Funny stuff.......good section, people were rockin' out.

I saw the car that was wrecked right near the Arena. That was one of the worst post accident scenes I have ever seen. Upside down, all glass blown out. By the time I passed, there was noone in the car, just 20 or so fireman milling around the car. I'd be pretty surprised if the driver survived
Also, I would not be surprised at all if someone tumbled down those steps. saturday wasn't as bad as Thursday though, when it was so muggy that it seemed as if it rained inside the arena making the steps superslick. I almost wiped 3 seperate times on one trip down to the 4th row0 -
I was in 110 and did see a guy get over the rail sidestage but security bum-rushed him out.0

friggin weather blew bigtime .
the show(s) were fantastic tho .
Yeah, if we are talking about the same accident, it looked pretty bad. Dude flipped his car over. I saw one guy just standing there that looked like he had been in the car, but looked okay. Then there were a whole bunch of firefighters huddled around something, but I don't know if it was a person....2006: May 13th and 25th, June 1st and 3rd0 -
hope everyone's ok0

On RT 17 North? When I drove by I saw the cops talking to the driver who was still hanging upside down in his seat....looked like he was going to be fine. That's why the Ford Taurus got a 5 Star crash rating......0 -

He dry docked one at Camden I, in honor of the USS Philadelphia. It stunk up the whole side of the venue. I heard he went top shelf in Theo Epstein's medicine cabinet after Boston II as well.I MET SIR MIKE F'N McCREADY!!!!!!!!

Me & my buddy were driving home north on Rt.17 & a cop flew passed us and then right after the turn off for Teterboro (next to the gas station) there was a tan car flipped over (maybe a newer Taurus) with all the windows blown out, tons of cop cars, fireman, etc. I have to agree with everyone sadly, it looked like a really bad accident :( I hope everyone was OKOh, if I knew where it was, I would take you there, but there's much more than this.
Ooooh. Whoooa, much more than this. Woooh see the world. Much more than... Oooh, much more than.. Why?0 -
