Trying to recover for the Adelaide > Perth home stretch. Had a snooze and raring to go for tonight's setlist - let's hope for my sake they don't pull out something ridiculous ;)

My mate from Aus just called me on my mobile at work and Love Boat Captain was playing.

I am so jealous i wish i was back there with them, but i guess i should not complain, i got to see pearl jam at astoria, leeds, verona and milan.

Damn it, i will still complain you can never get enough pearl jam.

I want to be home in Aus now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ed tossed the mic to Gus AGAIN for SOLAT.
Ed's voice sounded like it is starting to feel the pinch of a long tour. was pretty croaky in his chats to the crowd. unbelievable that he still managaed to punch out 29 songs. wow.
    crowd was really good.
Ed said that they probably wont be back in oz for "yonks" but still wants to come back some day so they can play rod laver with the roof open.
Between RITFW and YL, Ed played a game on stage where he wedged a 50c coin between his arse cheeks and tried to drop it in a cup. classic.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

I'm kinda sad, they've played Hail Hail twice in Aus so far. so not much chance for it in either Adeliade show. :(

Aside from that, Maybe Adelaide will get the two bumper shows! (It'll probably be Perth, bastards!)

i cant be bothered lookin up the stats! still a shitload of variety though.

tonight opening with long road. present tense included also. great crowd in. i am probably leaning to melb3 as the best, closely followed by melb2. melb1 comfortably 3rd.

yeah judd said melb 1 wasnt as good as other aussie shows..... cause of the crowd or the set?

Over the 3 Melbourne shows 6 songs were played at all 3 shows, they played 7 at both sydney shows, but i think about 10 were repeated at the 2 brissie shows. but here are the 6 played at all 3 melb shows:

Corduroy, Given to Fly, Do the Evolution, Even Flow, Life Wasted, Alive

Right you are, make that 5 songs.

Also i was really not expecting to see PJ tour here again after this, but what Ed said gives me a little hope they will be back, lets hope they pull a Kiss or john frahnam and do a thousand goodbye tours.

all sets have been awesome in their own right. but any set with long road and present tense will win my heart! melb1 had the largest 10c contingent but seemed to be the weakest crowd of the 3 nights, which was probably the disappointing thing.

ed said tongiht the crowds have gotten better each night. probably just banter to get a cheer, but its true.

when I heard the first cord of present tense I just looked the the roof in disbelief. I've waited 14 shows for it, watched them in 5 countries and finally get it on my final show in my own back yard.
