  • If anyone still needs them, I have 2 tickets to night 2 in section 206 that I'd like to sell for face value. With fees, they cost me $91.80 a piece. PM me if interested.

Parking at Barclay is limited, mostly small lots that charge between $20 and $40 depending on how close you are to Barclay's. Take mass transit if possible.

Stoked having 2 GAs for Saturday.

Also, if you drive around the more residential surrounding neighborhoods (I'm a former Park Sloper), you should easily be able to find a spot on any of the cross streets between 4th and 5th Avenues (south of Atlantic / Flatbush). There is a ton of street parking within easy walking distance to the arena.

    recent interview with vedder:
Huffington Post: Let's move to something a little bit lighter then: Do you have a favorite concert memory, or have you played so many that it's old hat by now?
VEDDER: I don't think we're that confident, but it can be the crowds. That's always the variable, but -- to be honest -- they're pretty consistent. [During the July 8, 2003 Madison Square Garden concert], the stage started bouncing. First you think it's a train, and then it continues and you think it's an earthquake. Then you're looking around at people on the side, your crew members, like, "What the fuck is going on?" You can get the stage to bounce in that room. I wonder if it happens at Barclays? I wonder.

    let's do this brooklyn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You guys, and all the spots on this tour are in for real treats.

I went to both shows in Worcester.
There was some concern that after a show with 32 songs lasting 3 hours, night 2 would be less energetic.
How could 50 year olds pull that off two nights in a row.
There was talk of Eddie having a cold.

Well.....Worcester 2 was everybit was energetic and spirited as Worcester 1, unique in it's own way, but no less awesome.

That makes me think that these guys are going all out, 100%, every show, every night.
Don't get caught up on # of songs or length of shows. Worcester 1 was 3 hours and 32 songs. Worcester 2 was 2.5 hours and 30 songs. Worcester 2 felt as long or longer than night 1. You'll get your money's worth and then some. The breaks were so friggin quick, just enough to grab a drink and take a leak. The talking was perfect, not too long, funny and meaningful. The show is so jam packed with music that it will blow you minds.

You are in for a treat. Enjoy every moment.

For those unable to attend these shows, you should know that the bootlegs are going to be so awesome, covering so many songs. Also, they have to be producing a tour movie because the quality of the footage shown on the big screens is absolutely incredible. It's highly stylized, black and white, then color with great angles and subtle effects. It's not your normal concert coverage. So I have to assume we'll see something like TB2000.

We are all so fortunate to be part of this experience!

I am sort of speechless with anticipation for tonight as I sit here at work not able to concentrate. However, have I got a little story for you that I need to share because it has to be some sort of sign: when I left my house (in Port Washington) this morning around 6 am for my daily walk to the train, half-asleep I looked down at the harbor and saw this GIGANTIC full moon illuminating the bay. The relevant part of this story: the moon was an intense shade of yellow. A true YELLOW MOON. I texted my wife because I had to share with someone; she wrote back "you're insane". It's probably true when it comes to PJ, but I can't help it. We watched a little PJ20 last night and I drank my last "Faithful Ale" that I have been saving for the right occasion. Today's the day - let's shake the earth Brooklyn & beyond (it seems like people are coming from all over the world for these shows). For anyone looking for a pre-show spot, my friends and I will be at 4th Ave Pub (a couple blocks from the arena) starting around 6 pm. I'll be in the black Clash T-Shirt and my best Canadian tuxedo. Disclaimer: I'm not sure if that term is derogatory to Canadians, and if so, my apologies and know that all I have is love for our northerly neighbors.
